Eric asked, “Yeah, sure. There’s a charity gala in Zrario in a couple of weeks. Do you want to find out you plan to invest here, they’ll flock to you.” Draven’s name was well–known in the business world, after all.
“We’ll see. For now, let’s get to the airport.” Draven checked the watch on his wrist and
“Alright. We can leave anytime,” Eric said with a smile.
Inside the Rolls–Royce.
Draven sat in the back seat while Eric took the front passenger seat.
oke calmly.
“You didn’t have to come along. The driver could’ve taken me,” Draven said, unsure of Eric’s intention.
“It’s fine. I’m free anyway,” Eric said casually.
Draven leaned back. He wore a crisp white dress shirt without a single wrinkle, straight tailored pants, and a matching suit jacket folded beside him.
His long fingers undid the top button of his shirt, and he turned to look out the window.
It was the weekend, but traffic was still heavy.
The driver handled the car well. The ride was smooth and steady.
Suddenly, a brand–new Land Rover sped past them like a gust of wind.,
Eric caught sight of it and let out a low whistle.
The SUV swept by, stirring the air, and vanished from view in seconds.
“Wow. That’s one bold lady. The way she drives–sharp and fearless,” Eric said.
He had seen long hair flick past the window, so he figured the driver was a woman.
Draven frowned a little, his dark eyes narrowing.
She drove that Land Rover like it was a sports car. It wasn’t an easy vehicle for most women to handle, but she made it look effortless.
Most people drove steady and carefully, but she moved like a trained racer–cutting left and right through traffic without scraping a single car.
Zrario really was full of hidden talents. A woman with that kind of skill and nerve was rare.
Draven found himself quietly impressed.
Up ahead was a busy intersection. Many people were crossing the street. From a distance, Eric spotted the
1/3 Range Rover. It looked like the driver noticed the intersection too, because the car slowed down. Eric

leaned forward and urged, “Speed up a little. Stay close to that Range Rover.”
The driver glanced at the backseat. Since his boss said nothing, he silently pressed the gas.

They were just about to catch up when a van suddenly shot forward–heading straight for the Range
Rover.
It was clear the van was out of control. It swerved hard, sliding closer and closer. It looked like a direct hit was seconds away.
But the Range Rover picked up on it. The driver hit the gas and jerked the whee and crashed into the guardrail on the side of the road.
A loud boom echoed through the street.
The front of the van was destroyed, crushed like paper.

The Range Rover dodged the hit–but it wasn’t so lucky the next second. It swung wide and slammed right into the Rolls–Royce beside it.
Eric, sitting in the passenger seat, froze.
What just happened?
“Sir, I’m sorry. I think I followed too closely,” the driver said, guilt flooding his voice.
“This isn’t on you,” Eric sighed. “Who would’ve thought the Range Rover could dodge like that? I swear they were inches away from each other.”
Cassia, on the other hand, felt like she should’ve checked her horoscope before going out. She almost never drove herself; she usually had a driver.
Today, she just felt like going for a drive, and now she ended up in a mess like this.
Yes, even though she had slammed the brakes in time, she still rear–ended someone. To her, this was humiliation. She was a championship race car driver. Gold medals every year. And she just rear–ended someone?
If the racing world found out, they’d never let her live it down.
