Chapter 376 A Drunken Mistake

Chapter 376 A Drunken Mistake

Haaah-Seven yawned. The alcohol hit him all at once. The room spun, and his legs went weak.

I’m so sleepy! I need to sleep now.

Thump! He collapsed onto the couch. A few seconds later, loud snoring filled the room.

Sterling stood there, staring at him.

Seven’s face was flushed from the drinks. He lay spread out on the couch, arms and legs everywhere. His sleeping posture was terrible.

His lips even smacked softly, like he was having a great dream.

But

Ththis is Cassia’s house,Sterling said quietly. Yyoucan’t sleep here

He walked over and tried to wake Seven.

No response.

Sterling pushed him gently.

Still nothing. Seven didn’t move at all.

Sterling started to panic. Cassia wasn’t here. Draven wasn’t here either. How was he supposed to move this huge grown man?

Then Sterling remembered something. Last time, he had accidentally eaten some chocolate with liquor inside and gotten dizzy. He had passed out on the living room couch too.

But when he woke up the next morning, he was in his bed with a blanket over him.

That night, the only other person at home was Seven.

Sterling looked at Seven.

So, Seven had carried him to bed?

Did that mean it was his turn to carry Seven?

He stared at him, his brain shortcircuited, and no words came out for a long time.

Sterling stood there, fighting with himself for ten whole minutes. Finally, he clenched his teeth. He grabbed Seven by the shoulders and pulled as hard as he could. Seven slid off the couch and landed on the floor.

Phew!

Sterling took a deep breath.

So tired

But he kept going.

Little by little, Sterling dragged Seven out of Cassia’s place and into his condo.

Seven was like a giant mop, slowly scraping across the floor. He bumped into corners and door frames but didn’t wake up. At most, he mumbled a sleepy Ow.

Phew! I’m dying here! Phew!

Sterling rubbed his sore shoulders and looked at Seven, whom he had dumped onto the couch.

Seven’s once clean white shirt was now dark and filthy, like he had rolled through dirt.

The couch cover was dirty too.

Sterling’s small eyes and mouth scrunched together in disgust.

So dirty!

When he wakes up tomorrow, I’m making him wash the couch cover. Hmph!

With Seven finally taken care of, sleep rushed over Sterling. He went back to his room, closed the door, and climbed into bed.

In the middle of the night, Seven woke up shivering.

Achoo!!!

He hugged himself and rubbed his cold arms.

Where am I? Why am I sleeping here? Huh? I’m home? This doesn’t look like my place. My house isn’t this dark. Where’s the kid?

The alcohol still hadn’t fully worn off. His head felt foggy. He had no idea what had happened at all.

Seven stood up, his head spinning. He thought he must have blacked out. He couldn’t even remember how he got home.

Believing this was his own place, he staggered toward the bedroom. He followed the wall, found a doorknob, and turned it without thinking, slipping inside.

This didn’t feel like his room.

I’m exhausted. Not going anywhere. I’ll just sleep here,Seven muttered. He pulled back the blanket and climbed onto the bed. Turning his head, he saw Sterling sleeping quietly beside him.

Huh? Kid, you’re here?Seven chuckled softly. Hahahal Why are you sleeping in my bed?

Sterling was fast asleep and didn’t respond.

Seven adjusted the blanket and covered himself.

Ah, much warmer.

He glanced at Sterling again.

Kid, I’m sleeping next to you, okay?

No reaction. He continued, You didn’t say no, so I’ll take that as yes. Yawn! So sleepy.

Yawning, Seven lay down.

Hmm? Had his bed gotten smaller? Or had the kid gotten bigger?

Move over a little. It’s crowded,Seven said.
