As they walked toward the amusement park exit, Sterling accidentally bumped into a little girl coming the other way.
In his soft, childlike voice, he said sorry and then kept walking after Seven.
Gary, Fiona, and Ethan all stared at Sterling with wide eyes.
They knew exactly how serious Sterling’s condition used to be. Even a small touch from a stranger could scare him badly. Sometimes, even Ethan brushing past him was too much for him to handle.
But just now, Sterling had let someone apart from Cassia hold his hand. He even bumped into a stranger, but he looked completely fine. Nothing happened.
Was his illness truly cured?
Had Cassia really healed him?
Ethan didn’t say a word the entire time. He just stood there, staring at his younger brother walking side by side with Seven.
The golden sunset looked like paint poured across the sky, spilling straight into Ethan’s eyes. The tall man and the small boy walked ahead, their backs glowing with a soft layer of light.
They slowly moved farther and farther away.
Ethan thought of the past. They were brothers. Blood brothers. Both of them should have been cherished by their parents, held in their hands, loved equally, and grown up together.
But when Ethan had enjoyed their parents‘ favor, his little brother had been suffering alone in an orphanage, trapped by autism. And at that last banquet, when he should have stepped in as an older brother and stopped their mother from pulling Sterling away, he had slowly lowered his hands instead.
In the end, it was this man who walked over and pulled Sterling back to Cassia’s side.
Ethan realized something. Compared to him, Sterling’s real brother wasn’t the one connected by blood. It was Seven.
And he himself wasn’t worthy of being Sterling’s brother.
After Seven and Sterling left the amusement park, they saw a large black car parked by the roadside.
“Mr. Grey and Ms. Wood are here to pick us up,” Seven said.
Holding Sterling’s hand, he walked over. Draven and Cassia were waiting beside the car.
Draven opened the back door. Cassia naturally got into the back seat.
After she was seated, Draven walked around to the other side and got in as well.
Seven opened the front passenger door and waited until Sterling climbed into the seat. Only then did he open the driver’s door and sit down.
The car moved smoothly through the busy traffic.

The drive from the amusement park to Atelier Zrario took about 30 minutes. Sitting in the car with nothing to do, Cassia took out her phone, opened the author dashboard, and started writing today’s chapter.
Draven’s eyes stayed on her.
Watching her type with such focus, a gentle smile appeared on his face without him even noticing.
He kept watching.
Twenty minutes later, 10,000 words were done.
After hitting ‘Publish‘, Cassia stretched her back.
“Well done,” Draven said with a smile.
He picked up a cushion and placed it behind her back.
Cassia smiled at him and leaned against it.
It felt very comfortable.
Ding!
“It’s finally updated!”
Sterling excitedly opened his phone to read.
The car stopped at a red light.
Seven glanced at the phone in Sterling’s hands.
“What are you looking at?” Seven leaned over. “You look totally hooked.”
He peeked at the screen. “Oh? Fallen of the Massacre?”
Sterling nodded. “Yeah.”
Cassia looked up at Sterling.
“What a coincidence,” Seven said. “Mr. Grey likes that book too.”
Cassia turned and looked at Draven.
Sterling did the same.
So, he’s a fan of Queen Dreame too?
“I’m telling you,” Seven went on, “Mr. Grey tips the author all the time. And when he tips, it’s millions at once.” As he finished speaking, the light turned green. Seven stepped on the gas and drove on.
Millions… every time?
Sterling suddenly thought of two usernames.
