Back when she couldn’t beat Cassia’s grades at school, Brie had told herself that if she worked hard enough, one day she would surpass her.
But now…
Cassia could play piano, sing, spike a volleyball, treat psychological disorders…
And now there was one more line added to the list-“brilliant surgeon.”
Cassia, what is there left that even in our wildest dreams we wouldn’t dare imagine you could do?
‘Right now, I don’t care what Cassia did!”
Victoria snapped out of her shock, staggering forward and reaching to grab Cassia by the collar.
‘You pushed my granddaughter down the stairs and caused her such serious injuries! Don’t think that just because you saved her ife, this is wiped clean!”
Cassia stepped back swiftly.
‘What are you talking about?”
Victoria grabbed at empty air, her blood pressure spiking as she lunged again.
‘Cassia, stop playing dumb! Brie saw it with her own eyes–you pushed Danica down four flights of stairs! I’ll kill you!”
Fred held Victoria back.
Blocked from reaching Cassia, Victoria thrashed like a madwoman, clawing and kicking at the air in Cassia’s direction.
She hurled every foul and vicious curse she could think of, spittle flying as she spat them out.
“Brie said that?” Cassia’s gaze slid to Brie, her eyes narrowing with a dangerous glint.
That look again.
Brie’s whole body stiffened. She didn’t dare meet Cassia’s eyes and quickly lowered her head, choosing silence.
“So, you framed me again.” Cassia let out a soft laugh at Brie’s evasive expression. “Is that all you know how to do? Put on a show and dump the blame on me?”
“Don’t change the subject, Cassial I won’t let this go!” Victoria continued screaming.
Cassia pulled off her mask and tossed it onto the floor.
“I’ve said it before. If I did something, I’ll admit it! If I didn’t, no one gets to pin it on me!”
Her presence alone stunned all of them.
That sentence sounded eerily familiar.

Suddenly, they remembered the piano Cassia had destroyed with a single kick.
That incident was burned deeply into Brie’s memory.
Some classmates had only scolded Cassia a little, and she’d kicked a ten–million–dollar piano into scrap metal.
What now? Is she going to rip out the stitches from Danica’s head?
With Cassia’s cold, ruthless streak, it didn’t seem impossible.
Victoria clearly thought of that too. The old woman went pale and fell silent.
Anger burning but no longer daring to speak, the atmosphere stiffened like a towel left too long under a blazing sun.
Cassia walked straight through the rigid cluster of five people and left the hospital.
Danica remained unconscious for three days.
On the first day, Vance bought a plane ticket to Yavaria and pushed open Cassia’s bedroom door.

Just a few days ago, after learning of Cassia’s legendary status in the chess world, he’d even considered bringing her back into the fold. Now, he was so furious he wanted to ship her off to Yavaria and let her fend for herself–he didn’t want to see her again.
But the room was empty.
Cassia had already packed her things after returning from the hospital and moved back to Dunstino Bay.
Vance cursed in anger.
Seeing his mood, Brie hurried over, smoothing his anger and playing the part of the devoted daughter.
“Dad, you’re sending Cassia abroad to study?” Brie noticed the plane ticket clenched in his hand.
“Yes.”
Vance thought grimly that Cassia needed to be taught a lesson.
But with that young, wealthy man protecting her and Nicole backing her, he couldn’t touch her directly.
After days of thinking, he had finally come up with the perfect plan.
Under the guise of sending her overseas for further education, he would abandon her abroad.
Without their protection, she could survive or perish on her own.
If she died, even better.
Brie saw the destination printed on the ticket–Yavaria.
A lawless wasteland, infamous worldwide as the “crime capital.”
Poor, filthy, and a breeding ground for violence.

weren’t even treated like human beings.
Study abroad? It was more like exile.
Cassia would be all alone there, with no one she knew.
So what if she spoke Montavish? In a place like that, she’d suffer plenty.
“Dad, this is such a great opportunity for Cassia to grow,” Brie said sweetly.
Vance looked at her.
She’s so naïve. Doesn’t she know what kind of place Yavaria was? She really thinks I’m doing Cassia a favor?
“Why don’t you give me the ticket? I’ll hand it to Cassia myself. She’ll definitely be thrilled.”
“That works.” Vance thought it over and handed the ticket to Brie.
He still had the company to manage and didn’t want to see Cassia. Since Brie and Cassia attended school together, she could deliver it.
With Cassia’s personality, she’d probably rush to the airport the moment she got it.
“I’ll make sure it gets into Cassia’s hands,” Brie said, gripping the ticket with determination.
