“If you keep following me, I won’t be nice,” she warned, clenching her fist.

Aspen glanced at her fist, gritted his teeth, and stubbornly continued after her.

Before he could finish, a black Volkswagen pulled up along the curb.

The driver’s side window rolled down, revealing a strikingly handsome face. “Get in.”

Cassia opened the door and moved to get inside. Seeing her about to leave with Draven, Aspen reacted instinctively and reached out to grab her wrist again.
