Chapter 77 Stealing the Spotlight

He had a commanding presence and a flawless build; his long, straight legs were wrapped in black suit trousers, looking like a model who had stepped straight out of a magazine.

Cassia was momentarily stunned, unsure how to react.

She had just woken up and was still a little groggy.

Fortunately, she was decently dressed.

Can I help you?Cassia asked calmly.

Dinner. The answer was brief, without a single unnecessary word.

Cassia paused for a moment, slightly stunned. Seeing the takeaway box in his hand, and feeling her own stomach growl, she opened the door and let him in.

Draven put down the food and opened it, then gestured for her to sit and eat.

It was the first time Draven had ever served someone a meal himself.

If Seven or the other subordinates saw this, they would probably think the sun had risen in the

west.

Draven was the type of person who wouldn’t eat even if food was fed to him, but now he was serving someone else.

Cassia felt flattered and a little shy. It felt like a strange, light sensation was brushing across her chest.

She sat down and saw everything laid out perfectly for her. She felt slightly embarrassed.

She and Draven weren’t that familiar; and acts like this were usually reserved for people in a close relationship.

What’s wrong? Eat.Draven picked up his fork, This was packed from the best restaurant, and it is still warm.

He explained, thinking the food might not suit her tastes.

Cassia, hungry, picked up her fork and began eating.

Draven, watching her, smiled warmly. As they ate, he casually asked, By the

way, when did

learn medicine? You’re still in high school, right? Senior year this year?

Cassia had anticipated this question. Being so young yet so skilled naturally raised curiosity.

She calmly looked at Draven and replied, You never asked.

Draven was speechless.

As expected, it was her styleconfident and unyielding, impossible to argue against.

He couldn’t help but chuckle, a faint smile gracing his handsome face.

She was indeed extraordinary.

After finishing her meal, Cassia rested a while before gathering with Dr. Limbaugh and the others.

Boss, when will you be back?Flynn asked eagerly.

They were all members of the National Medical Research Institute, and Flynn greatly admired Cassia’s skill.

Hmm, it will take some time. We’ll stay in touch if anythin calmly.

comes up.Cassia responded

Alright, just hurry back. I’ll miss you,Flynn said, pretending to sniffle.

Are you sure you mean me? Not your flightattendant girlfriend?Cassia teaseda rare playful moment.

Flynn froze, incredulous. He had just gone on a date with her, and he kept it extremely private. How could Cassia know?

Youhow did you know, Boss?Flynn asked, stunned.

If you don’t want anyone to find out, don’t do it,Cassia said with a mysterious smile, giving no direct answer.

Flynn didn’t dare speak further, knowing that, with Cassia’s abilities, she could probably dig up one’s entire ancestry if she wanted.

Dr. Limbaugh and the others laughed quietly; only Cassia could intimidate this boy.

After some small talk, Cassia, under Draven’s arrangement, took a private plane back to Zrario.

Draven didn’t accompany her because Ned was still in the hospital, but already awake and in good spirits.

Draven was gratified. Cassia truly was remarkable.
