The Stolen Heiress: The Billionaires’ Little Star novel Chapter 26

Yet she never expected Autumn's response to be a thinly veiled insult about her lack of education.

Chloe completely refused to believe her critique was wrong.

After all, nearly every famous critic in the future evaluated it exactly that way.

Autumn was just deliberately making things difficult for her!

She gave up trying to figure out how Daisy had won them over in her past life.

If Autumn was going to look down on her, she would make Autumn regret it!

[Chloe is so pitiful.]

[Pitiful my ass. Doesn't anyone else feel like she's trying way too hard for attention?]

[Honestly, Master Sterling's stream is way more entertaining.]

The camera cut to a new perspective.

Xavier and Daisy were squatting outside the doorway, brushing their teeth and washing their faces.

The freezing water made Xavier shudder. Frowning, he grumbled, "At this rate, I'll be able to compete in winter swimming against that idiot Quinn next year."

Daisy looked at him in total confusion. "What is a 'that idiot Quinn'?"

Xavier laughed. He pressed his freezing hands against the back of Daisy's neck, watching the little girl shiver from the cold. His wicked smile only grew wider.

Then he answered, "It's a person."

Daisy cupped her chin. "I've never heard a name that long before."

"Haha, Quinn is his name. The rest is an adjective."

Xavier paused, his expression darkening slightly as he warned her, "If you ever meet him, don't play with him. That guy is bad news."

Daisy nodded firmly, signaling that she understood. Though she honestly thought she would never meet this "that idiot Quinn" anyway.

The live chat was losing its mind laughing.
