Chapter 93 The Sage Healer Revealed
“You’re a Sage Healer, aren’t you? Only a Sage Healer would try something so bold and unconventional!”
Venus smiled and politely shook Herb’s hand.
Neil’s eyes widened in disbelief. “She’s a Sage Healer? No way!” he barked. “Dr. Blanton, Venus has been lying since she was a kid. Don’t let her fool you! She barely finished school. How could she possibly master such advanced medical skill?”
He threw up his hands. “Impossible! Absolutely impossible! I’d stake my entire medical career on this! Venus could never be a Sage Healer!”
Herb gave him a scornful look. “You were at the medical conference last time, weren’t you? I showed a certain prescription there and mentioned the name Venus. Everyone heard it.”
“I heard Vienna! You said Vienna’s name!” Neil insisted, refusing to accept the truth.
Herb rolled his eyes and argued, “I have an accent. Mixing up Venus and Vienna isn’t strange. But that’s on me-I’d only heard of Venus before; I’d never actually met her.”
He turned back to her, conviction settling in his voice. “Now I can confirm it. The prescription was written by Venus, and Ms. Clayton was saved by her.”
To make sure no one confused their names again, Herb carefully pronounced “Venus” in clear, standard speech.
“I still don’t believe it!” Neil shot back. He glared at her. “Venus, tell him the truth. You can’t heal anyone. You’re just pretending!”
Venus stayed calm. “I’m different than some people who claim credit for what they didn’t do. When something is mine, I own it.”
She looked him straight in the eye. “Yes, I saved Ava. And yes, I wrote that prescription Dr. Blanton mentioned.”
Her tone was steady. “That’s right. I’m a Sage Healer.”
Neil nearly lost it. “Oh, for crying out loud!” he shouted, his composure gone. “You’ve lived with us for a year! How could I not know you had this kind of skill? Venus, drop the act already! You’re not fooling anyone!”
Herb’s eyes suddenly lit up. “Well, if he doesn’t believe you saved the patient,” he said with a hint of challenge, “how about you prove it? Go ahead. Remove the needles now.”

Venus nodded calmly and began to work. With a steady breath, she twisted the silver needles between her fingers-precise, sharp, and fast.
Her right hand moved with effortless grace as each needle slid in and out with perfect control.
The smooth, confident rhythm stunned everyone in the room. Neil froze. Vienna’s face stiffened.
That kind of technique couldn’t be learned overnight. It took more than ten years of training- years of discipline and precision.
Within minutes, Venus was done removing the needles. Ava’s breathing steadied, and color returned to her face.
Neil’s face was grim. “Even if you know a bit of old-fashioned healing skill, that doesn’t mean you can heal paralysis.” He glared at her.
“Venus, your arrogance will ruin you. If Ms. Clayton wakes up worse than before, your life’s
over.”
Venus ignored him. She quietly picked up one last needle and pressed it into the spot between Ava’s brows.
A soft
gasp followed. Ava’s eyelids fluttered open.
“Ms. Oracle …” She whispered weakly. “Thank you. You saved me again.”
Her voice trembled with emotion. She remembered the darkness before she fainted and remembered Venus’s hands working desperately to save her.
Tears welled up as Ava lifted her trembling hand and gripped Venus’s tightly.
Neil and Vienna stood frozen, their faces red with embarassment. They could hardly breathe.
Venus had done it.
She had brought a paralyzed woman back from the edge and proved herself beyond doubt.
Neil stared at Venus, his eyes wide with shock, unable to believe what he just saw.
Before Venus was brought home, they’d run a full background check on her and uncovered every detail of her past.
Not once did it mention she had any medical skills, let alone that she was a highly trained sage healer.
A storm of emotions twisted in Neil’s chest-anger, disbelief, and embarrassment. His face

turned so red it looked like it might burst.
“You … when did you even learn medicine?” he demanded, his voice tight with accusation and something like hurt.
Venus’s tone was cool. “What’s it to you?”
Neil froze, speechless.
Of course it mattered!
