Read The Transactional Marriage That Imploded novel Bianca and Mathis Chapter 106 by Ansel Bick

Milo was in a fantastic mood.

He knew Bianca wouldn't tolerate a cheating husband.

"Don't worry, my people are keeping a close eye on him for you."

When they arrived at the entrance of the restaurant Milo had booked, he pulled out a Cartier necklace and handed it to her. "Thanks for saving the day on Saturday. If you hadn't stepped in, the launch would have been a disaster. My parents watched the video of you playing the Zither and said you looked incredibly elegant. They've been nagging me to court you every single day."

Bianca tried to decline. "It was just a small favor. You don't have to be this generous. Friends help each other out."

Milo wasn't taking no for an answer, stubbornly pressing the necklace into her hands.

"Take it. I never take back gifts I've bought."

Bianca had no choice but to accept it, slipping it into her bag. "Thank you, Milo."

As the two were laughing and chatting, they ran right into Cynthia Quinn's group.

It was Cynthia, her mother Harlowe Thorne, and her grandmother Beatrice Bancroft.

Technically, Beatrice was Bianca's grandmother too, but Bianca refused to acknowledge her.

Beatrice had always heavily favored Neville Quinn. When Bianca's father, Patrick Quinn, passed away, they had ganged up to bully the orphaned daughter and widowed mother. If they hadn't stolen the family assets, her mother wouldn't have overworked herself into an early grave.

Bianca's fists clenched. Milo, knowing her family history, murmured softly, "If they don't start anything, just treat them like air."

Cynthia had tried to add Milo on social media previously to whisper these exact rumors, but Milo had completely ignored her.

Milo looked Beatrice up and down with blatant disdain, his peripheral vision sliding over Cynthia and Harlowe.

Then, he twisted his face into an expression of sheer disgust, as if he were looking at something foul and rotting.

"Dogs really do bark the ugliest tunes. Hey, Quinn, I heard your mother clawed her way up as a mistress too. I guess it runs in the family. This homewrecking talent is practically a generational heirloom for you people. You'd better pop out a daughter for Mathis, or your precious family legacy might just die out with you."

Cynthia and Harlowe's faces flushed violently from white to red.

Not entirely satisfied yet, Milo shot a cold, sideways glare at Beatrice. "And you, old bat. With a mouth that vicious, be careful you don't pop a blood vessel at home tonight."
