Read The Transactional Marriage That Imploded novel Bianca and Mathis Chapter 115 by Ansel Bick

Bianca genuinely had considered that plan. But as a computing engineer holding two major patents, the current tech embargo meant she would be detained the moment she tried to leave the country.

Bianca unlocked the door, and Mathis followed her right inside.

"I know that in the eyes of you rich people, having a woman on the side is nothing. But I can't do it. I don't have it in me. I only believe in monogamy. Our core values are fundamentally incompatible. We can't share a life. Maybe Cynthia Quinn is perfectly fine with sharing you. She's the perfect wife for you."

As she spoke, Milo Wilder's name lit up her phone screen. Seeing the name made Mathis's eye twitch.

He snatched Bianca's phone and answered it on speaker.

Before Bianca could say a word, Milo's excited voice filled the room. "Hey Bianca! My dad said you should come to our family's Fall Gala this year. Didn't you say you have friends coming? My dad said to invite them all to celebrate with us. It'll be a blast! Our family's gala is spectacular every year; you'll get to see the best of Harbor City's culture.

"I'll even sing and dance for you.

"I have an exclusive villa in the affluent district. Your friends can stay there; it's way better than a hotel. Don't say no—your friends are my friends. My dad even said that if I manage to marry you, he won't yell at me for three whole years. Our wedding will be as lavish as you want."

Milo was a year younger than Bianca, and he had recently decided that flirting with her was his favorite new pastime.

Mathis was about to snap at him, but Bianca immediately clamped her hand over his mouth.

Mathis's eyes went wide. Feeling the warmth of her hand against his skin, his gaze instantly softened.

"Milo, I'm a bit tied up right now. Let's talk later."

"I know exactly where I stand with you, and I won't humiliate myself by begging for your love. No, wait—you do have love to give, you just gave it all to Cynthia. Congratulations on finding your true love."

Mathis didn't say a word. He just grabbed her and crashed his mouth against hers in a forceful, unrelenting kiss.

Trapped tightly in his arms, Bianca tried her usual trick of biting his lip, but Mathis had her jaw locked, rendering her completely immobile.

As the kiss deepened, Mathis's heartbeat spiraled out of control. It had been so long since he had touched her.

Like an animal losing all restraint, he yanked at her pajama top in a frenzy, the fabric tearing—and the sight of her slightly rounded belly left him utterly stunned.

Bianca was a fitness enthusiast. She had abs; her stomach had always been perfectly flat.
