Read The Transactional Marriage That Imploded novel Bianca and Mathis Chapter 156 by Ansel Bick

Milo glanced over at Bianca's table. Mathis and Cynthia had just seated themselves right next to her. Cynthia shot Bianca a provocative, gloating smile, making Bianca's chest tight with rage.

She had already been plotting her revenge in her head. There was no way she was going to let the woman who killed her baby live happily ever after.

Concerned, Milo hurried over. "Are you okay?"

"It's too suffocating in here," Bianca said, feeling a surge of irritation. "Let's go get some air in the hallway."

She absolutely loathed sitting next to Mathis.

As Bianca stood up and walked past, Cynthia muttered under her breath, "Shameless."

The sheer audacity sent a spike of pure rage straight to Bianca's brain. Without a single word, she reached out, grabbed a fistful of Cynthia's hair, and violently dragged her down from her chair.

"Say that again! I dare you!" she snapped, her voice like ice.

No one ever lost their composure like this at high-society events.

The entire room gasped in shock, but then immediately settled in to watch the drama unfold. The two women clearly seemed to be fighting over the same man.

Was Bianca the actual wife?

It certainly looked like it—how else would she be a major shareholder of SDK?

But why would a man with such a stunning wife ever cheat?

Was it just the thrill of the forbidden?

Mathis reached out to shove Bianca away, but Milo instantly stepped between them, blocking him.

"Mr. Jagger. Let the women handle their own business."

Mathis retracted his hand, silently acquiescing to Milo's intervention.

Wincing in pain, Cynthia tried to fight back, but Bianca tightened her grip and yanked hard, tearing a bloody chunk of hair right off her scalp.

The crowd watched in terrified awe. The wealthy wives exchanged glances, thoroughly impressed by the sheer brutality of this mysterious SDK shareholder.

Only then did Milo step aside. Mathis walked over, supported Cynthia, and led her out of the hall.

Bianca watched them leave, her eyes dark and unreadable.

He really did protect her with everything he had.

Ingrid rushed over to Bianca. "Don't worry, you did great! I already texted my dad and told him to give the local police station a heads-up. We'll say it was self-defense. With all these eyes watching, no one here is going to testify for a mistress."

Bianca was surprised by Ingrid's support. She didn't know the girl's motives, but she was grateful. "Thank you, Ingrid."

Ingrid viewed Bianca as a true warrior who had done exactly what she had always wanted to do but never dared. She linked arms with her affectionately. "Just call me Ingrid from now on. Anyone who beats up that obnoxious woman is a friend of mine."

Of course, Ingrid had no idea Bianca was actually Mathis's wife.

"Alright!"

Glancing up at the security cameras, a flicker of dread crossed her mind at the thought of Mathis's inevitable retaliation.
