Summary for Chapter 157: The Transactional Marriage That Imploded

Read The Transactional Marriage That Imploded novel Bianca and Mathis Chapter 157 by Ansel Bick

Originally, Bianca's plan had been to scheme against Cynthia quietly, avoiding any cameras. But the insult had pushed her over the edge, and she had acted on pure impulse.

She rarely did anything without a solid plan, but whenever it came to Cynthia, her rage was simply uncontrollable.

She hadn't expected the crowd to rally behind her. Bianca turned and gave a deep bow of gratitude to the onlookers.

The wealthy wives sighed collectively. It was heartbreaking to see a legitimate wife driven to such desperate, humiliating lengths.

Now, she needed to deal with the security footage. Bianca hurried to her car to grab her laptop.

Milo followed close behind, asking softly, "What are you doing?"

"Hacking the security system to delete the footage," she whispered.

Milo pressed his lips together, unsure of how to react to her sheer audacity.

But remembering how anxious Mathis had been over Cynthia, he knew Bianca was just doing what she had to do to survive.

Curious to see her skills in action, Ingrid tagged along.

Since Ingrid had just helped her, Bianca didn't turn her away.

Once in the car, Bianca whipped open her laptop. Her fingers flew across the keyboard as she quickly wrote several lines of code, targeting the hotel's cloud-based camera servers.

In less than a minute, she had bypassed the encryption and breached the system.

She didn't just delete the video; she overwrote it with footage from a later timestamp.

This way, no one could recover the original files. Given how obsessed Mathis was with Cynthia, she knew he would definitely hire experts to try and restore the data.

She had to cover her tracks perfectly.

In just half an hour, the evidence was completely eradicated.

Bianca let out a long, shuddering breath.

Milo and Ingrid were utterly speechless.

Karis looked confused. "Didn't you just say you were boycotting SDK?"

Ingrid grinned. "Bianca is one of their shareholders, and she's awesome. I'll keep buying from this brand just for her."

Karis's only reservation about Bianca was the fact that she was married and had just miscarried. Aside from that, the girl was genuinely flawless.

Looking at her son's smitten expression, she knew he wasn't going to give up anytime soon.

Karis sighed softly. What a complicated mess.

Bianca stayed until the very end of the gala before heading home.

Meanwhile, at the hospital, Cynthia received five stitches on her forehead. For the patch of torn scalp, the doctor could only disinfect the area, leaving her in agonizing pain.

Heartbroken for her, Mathis had the doctor prescribe sleeping pills and painkillers so she could rest.

Crying softly, she gripped his arm. "Mathis, she's pure evil. I only said one thing, and she attacked me like a psycho. She was trying to ruin my face! You can't let her get away with this."
