Read The Transactional Marriage That Imploded novel Bianca and Mathis Chapter 199 by Ansel Bick
Bianca glared at him with absolute lethal intent. "Don't worry, I won't die. If I die, you and Cynthia would throw a massive party to celebrate. Why the hell would I give my enemies exactly what they want?"
For over a year, the only thing keeping her breathing was her burning obsession with coming back and destroying them.
Mathis still had an iron grip on her wrist, her pale skin already blooming red under his fingers.
He stared at her, his gaze burning with dark intensity. "What do I have to do to make you come back to me?"
Her voice was a razor blade, completely devoid of emotion. "Bring my grandmother back from the dead, and murder Cynthia Quinn."
Mathis's voice faltered. "I can't bring back the dead."
Bianca laughed, a harsh, mocking sound. "Oh, so you do know that! When you were systematically driving me into an early grave, did that convenient little fact slip your mind? Stay the hell away from me.
If you're so desperate to keep Aveline, then treat her properly. Don't you dare prioritize Lamont over her. If you can't put her first, give her back to me. I would never let anyone treat her as second best."
Her plan was to finish the Developer Conference and then test the waters with Theodore Jagger, hoping the old man might help her secure custody.
The corners of Mathis's eyes flushed a dangerous, desperate red. Everything between them had spiraled completely out of his control.
"Yesterday, you were the one holding her, which is why I didn't chase after you," he tried to explain. "It's not that I don't care about you two. As for Cynthia, I promise I'll give you an explanation you'll be happy with."
Bianca couldn't care less about whatever twisted dynamic he had going on with his mistress. Her face remained a mask of pure apathy. "And the men in those three SUVs? Did you lock them up?"
Mathis went dead silent.
Knowing exactly how much power he wielded in Kingsbridge City, Bianca let out a bitter, condescending laugh. "Mathis, why do you constantly lie to yourself? You knew damn well those were Quinn's men. Other than Cynthia, who else in this entire world would want me and Aveline out of the picture?
I know you don't care if they hurt me. But Aveline is your daughter. Are you seriously going to let them walk after they targeted your own child? If Cynthia is that precious to you, then go tie yourself to her and leave me alone."
Mathis averted his eyes. "My hands are tied."
Bianca found that unbelievably hilarious. Mathis basically owned Kingsbridge City. He had high-level connections across every single industry.
A mid-tier family like the Quinns 'tying his hands'? He could obliterate their entire bloodline before lunch if he wanted to.
