Bianca offered a faint, dismissive smile. "Mr. Jagger, Stellaride doesn't lack partners. What you should be saying is that without Stellaride, the losses for Aeterna will be far more than just a few numbers. Since your so-called tech guru is a complete fraud, Aeterna's paper wealth probably won't hold up for much longer."

Cillian Calder chimed in at the perfect moment. "Market caps and stock prices are just illusions; a tech company's true hard power is its R&D. Mr. Jagger, you shouldn't let personal feelings dictate your personnel choices, or your stellar reputation might easily crash and burn."

Mathis didn't lock horns with them over this. Instead, he presented his most sincere offer. "We're willing to add two percentage points."
