Summary for Chapter 292: The Transactional Marriage That Imploded

Read The Transactional Marriage That Imploded novel Bianca and Mathis Chapter 292 by Ansel Bick

Xanthe really wanted to expose the fact that Mathis had cheated and was raising an illegitimate child, but she couldn't afford to mess with a man of his stature.

She held it in until she felt like she was going to explode, but ultimately refrained from cursing him out in the group chat. Everyone's appetite was whetted, leaving them wildly speculating about what Mathis had actually done.

As the head of the technical department and a shareholder, Bianca was naturally involved in the negotiations. Cynthia Quinn arrived in an electric wheelchair.

When she saw Bianca sitting completely unharmed next to Cillian Calder, looking even more radiant than before with a healthy flush on her porcelain skin while enthusiastically discussing tech specs, Cynthia lost it.

Cynthia was so furious she was practically turning into charcoal, smoke almost billowing from her ears.

She gritted her teeth in pure hatred. This woman had plotted against her multiple times and still managed to come out unscathed. Once some time passed, she swore she would make Mathis destroy her.

Unlike Bianca, who kept her emotions hidden, Cynthia's fury was written all over her face. Bianca easily caught sight of her seething anger.

Since that was the case, Bianca decided to flaunt her triumph.

She mouthed silently to Cynthia, "Go to hell!" before shooting her a deliberately provocative glare.

Cynthia turned red with rage, looking as if she wanted to tear Bianca apart right then and there.

Mathis noticed the silent clash between the two women. He ignored Bianca.

Instead, he murmured a few soft words to coax Cynthia until she managed to collect herself.

Facing this wretched couple, Cillian's primary language was reduced to sheer speechlessness.

He needed to figure out a way to keep his junior out of these negotiations so she wouldn't have to look at these two pieces of trash.

The morning session did not go smoothly. Mathis was dissatisfied with the terms Stellaride Computing offered, nitpicking every single detail.

Cillian didn't care much for this partnership anyway, so Stellaride Computing refused to budge an inch.

Bianca stated that if they were to yield, it would only be to offer their last-generation patents for the collaboration.

Mathis obviously refused, bringing the two sides to a complete stalemate over pricing and licensing terms.

With no progress made all morning, they decided to pick it up again in the afternoon.

At lunch, Mathis offered to treat the entire staff present, but Bianca flatly refused.

"Thanks for the offer, Mr. Jagger, but I have a workout session later and can't join you. Maybe next time."

Eating with them? She'd probably throw up from sheer disgust before she even took a bite.

Mathis tried to convince her to stay, but Cillian shut him down.

"Ms. Baldwin said she has plans. Let's not force her, Mr. Jagger."

Bianca walked right out, not giving Mathis an ounce of face.
