Read The Transactional Marriage That Imploded novel Bianca and Mathis Chapter 312 by Ansel Bick
Mathis tightened his arms around Bianca, his voice dropping into a tender murmur. "I won't let you be sad anymore. Everything Milo Wilder can give you, I can give you too.
I can give you even more. His career is just starting out, while all of Dawnstar Capital answers to me.
Don't leave me. We can go back to how we used to be, tangled up in each other every night.
If you don't want to stay home and take care of me, you can keep working. I won't hide you away anymore.
You can do whatever you want from now on, as long as you don't leave me."
Bianca's head was throbbing. Communicating with Mathis was forever a lost cause.
He only cared about his own satisfaction.
She clamped her mouth shut, afraid that if she lost her temper and cursed him out, he would just act even crazier.
The car pulled up to a five-star hotel, where a presidential suite had already been prepped for him.
Mathis moved to carry her out, but she hopped out of the car herself, refusing to share any more intimate contact with him.
To her, Mathis was like a lethal poison. She wasn't an idiot. Why would she throw away a wonderful man like Milo for a control freak like him?
Everyone gravitated toward the light, and she was no different.
But right now, Milo was probably going out of his mind waiting for her.
And she was right. Back at the hospital, Milo had been pacing the floors, waiting endlessly for her to return. He tried calling her phone, but it rang out every time.
Eventually, the bodyguards he had assigned to protect Bianca returned, reporting that they had been intercepted and couldn't get into her apartment.
Nobody knew where she had been taken.
Milo instantly knew Mathis had taken her. He was terrified that Mathis would push her too far. Bianca was fierce and unyielding; what if she hurt herself just to spite him?
Milo pulled every string he had to track her down, but she had vanished without a trace.
Left with no other option, he sought out Theodore Jagger. Theodore was currently busy interrogating Lamont Jagger, trying to force the boy to reveal who had put him up to the attack.
After being threatened by Rosalind Jagger the night before, Lamont had clamped his mouth shut. No matter how Theodore coaxed or threatened him, the boy refused to speak.
Theodore was nursing a massive headache when Milo's call came through.
"What? Mathis took Bianca?" Theodore snapped, thoroughly agitated. "What the hell is that boy trying to do?"
Milo asked if Theodore knew any private properties where Mathis might have taken her.
After a long pause, Theodore provided a few locations. Milo dispatched his men to check them all, but they came up empty.
He called Mathis's number over and over, but it was completely unreachable.
Back at the hotel, Milo was the only thing on Bianca's mind.
The hotel staff escorted them up to the suite, completely bypassing the public areas.
She didn't even have a chance to beg someone to call the police.
