Summary for Chapter 323: The Transactional Marriage That Imploded

Read The Transactional Marriage That Imploded novel Bianca and Mathis Chapter 323 by Ansel Bick

Hailey had known Mathis for years. Once she pieced everything together, his erratic behavior over the past two years finally made sense.

Faking a passionate romance with one woman while side-lining his own wife.

The couple ultimately went their separate ways. Not all love in this world gets a happy ending.

She felt immense sympathy for him. He had sacrificed his own marriage for the sake of his undercover mission.

She felt things shouldn't end like this. Even though there had been misunderstandings and hurt, people who loved each other belonged together.

Bianca: [I am divorcing him for sure. I won't withdraw the lawsuit.]

Hailey: [He really had no choice!]

Bianca: [The feelings are completely dead, and we're done. If a man hurt you that deeply, would you just write it all off the moment he said he had an excuse?]

Hailey gripped her phone, unable to speak for a long time. She wasn't Bianca; she couldn't understand the visceral pain she had endured.

When she first learned of Mathis's outrageous behavior, she too had been furious enough to want him dead.

Lying in his hospital bed, Milo saw Bianca's messages in the group chat and immediately broke into a smile.

He didn't reply in the group. Instead, he messaged her privately: [I knew you were steadfast. Love you!]

He followed it up with a kissing emoji.

Bianca teased him for being guarded, to which Milo replied that he was upfront.

He never played the secret crush game. If he liked her, he said it loud and clear, never leaving her guessing about his intentions.

Bianca was staring at her phone, her face beaming with happiness. She didn't even notice that Mathis had been standing in her office for a while.

A wave of sorrow washed over Mathis. A smile like that would never be directed at him again.

Before coming over, he had intentionally changed into a dark silk shirt and black trousers. The shirt was unbuttoned to the third button, revealing his sharp collarbones.

His complexion was luminous, and with his striking features and athletic build, he had drawn countless stares from women on his way over.

Bianca looked up and felt rather exasperated by his blatant display. No matter how good he looked, it had nothing to do with her anymore.

The smile vanished from her face instantly.

Mathis swallowed his discomfort and said gently, "I came to pick you up. I want to have dinner with our daughter tonight. Don't kick me out, okay?"

He looked so pitiful that anyone who didn't know him would have genuinely felt bad for him.

Bianca almost asked him what acting class he had attended the night before.

Before she could mock him, her phone rang.

It was Maxine.

Maxine didn't use Twitter, so she had only just seen the video of Mathis's statement while scrolling through her feed.

She was beyond shocked. To think Mathis Jagger was actually Bianca's monster of a husband.
