Summary for Chapter 362: The Transactional Marriage That Imploded

Read The Transactional Marriage That Imploded novel Bianca and Mathis Chapter 362 by Ansel Bick

It wasn't until ten o'clock at night that Bianca walked out of the office, rubbing her sore neck.

As soon as she entered the elevator, she received a photo from Tessa showing Mathis standing tall and straight, leaning against a car alone, smoking a cigarette.

The man's sharp features were obscured by the smoke, making him look incredibly lonely.

Tessa sent a voice message: "Ms. Baldwin, your husband looks like an abandoned puppy. It's so pitiful."

Bianca rolled her eyes. If he was pitiful, then the rest of the world didn't even deserve to live.

She texted back: [Don't feel sorry for him. He's probably just practicing his acting skills.]

Tessa burst out laughing. Considering the deep devotion Mathis used to fake whenever he looked at Cynthia...

His acting skills could indeed blow any A-list celebrity out of the water, maybe even win him an Oscar.

[Alright then, no more sympathy for him.]

[Yeah, he doesn't deserve it.]

Before getting into her car, Bianca texted Milo, sharing her boring overtime life.

[Just got off work. Been working late every day recently.]

Milo sent back a video of himself still in the dance studio.

She glanced at the video. He was rehearsing a dance, completely drenched in sweat. His T-shirt clung to his body, highlighting the excellent curves of his muscles.

His movements were powerful and energetic, yet his body retained an incredible flexibility. When a man decided to be seductive, women really had no chance.

Even though he wasn't dancing shirtless like those male models, he exuded an overwhelming, sensual energy.

Smiling, Bianca dialed his number, putting it on the car's Bluetooth as she started the engine.

Milo's low, panting voice came through. "I just finished rehearsing and am about to head home too."

Bianca was confused. Wasn't he busy with the launch of the new game? Why was he dancing?

Milo let out a low, incredibly suggestive chuckle. For some reason, Bianca felt the night air suddenly grow quite alluring.

His magnetic voice floated over, slipping into a deep, husky register that sounded incredibly sexy.

"Didn't you suggest I promote myself? The marketing department thought having me dance to generate traffic and grab attention was a great idea. So they're making me perform at the launch event to hype up the crowd."

Bianca laughed out loud. "A CEO being forced to dance like a pop star. That's actually pretty funny."

"It's all for the sake of traffic. There's no shame in it."

The two chatted the whole way about work, life, and whatever came to mind, without any boundaries.

Regardless, Bianca felt in a great mood by the end of the call. Finally, Milo added, "I heard the Jagger family's banquet on Friday has invited quite a few heavy hitters. Old Mr. Jagger really does value you highly."
