Summary for Chapter 363: The Transactional Marriage That Imploded

Read The Transactional Marriage That Imploded novel Bianca and Mathis Chapter 363 by Ansel Bick

Corbin admired his fiancée's bluntness. He, too, wanted to know Bianca's stance on the matter.

His grandfather had always admired Bianca, and after she released a brand-new patent and gave birth to a daughter, her position in the old man's heart had only grown stronger.

Bianca's expression didn't waver. She replied calmly, "Theodore would never try to set us up, and even if he did, I would never agree.

"You should know how difficult my path to divorce has been. No matter what tragic excuses Mathis comes up with, there is zero chance we will ever get back together."

Even to this day, just thinking about that marriage suffocated her.

Why would someone who nearly drowned ever go near the ocean again?

Hearing this, Corbin secretly rejoiced.

However, he was a deeply calculating man, and neither Bianca nor Ingrid noticed his reaction.

Ingrid repeatedly confirmed with Bianca that she wouldn't get back with Mathis, even warning her not to steal the spotlight at the banquet so as not to make things awkward for her brother in the future.

After all, Bianca was a divorced woman with a child.

Bianca found this a bit ridiculous. For a modern person to be this conservative... it felt like Ingrid had studied so hard her brain had short-circuited.

But because she cared about Milo, she didn't snap back, instead politely seeing the two of them out.

Corbin noted Bianca's starkly different attitudes toward the Jagger family and the Wilder family. Deep down, she clearly favored Milo.

Mathis had lost entirely.

The thought put him in an excellent mood.

Corbin thought to himself, 'Mathis, your day of reckoning has finally come.'

Bianca returned to her office to keep working, pushing to get the proposal submitted for Cillian to review before tomorrow afternoon.

After rushing non-stop, she finally finished the proposal at four o'clock on Friday afternoon.

She sent Milo a giant "mission accomplished" sticker, and as if on purpose, Milo sent a voice message praising how awesome she was in a low, husky drawl.

That seductive tone had a natural lethality, leaving Bianca's heart fluttering for no apparent reason.

In Cillian's office, he was coordinating the IPO details with Dawnstar Capital.

Stellaride's listing process had recently kicked off, and they were working with Dawnstar Capital's Markets Division.

After he hung up the phone, Bianca asked, "Cillian, will Mathis be personally involved in our company's IPO?"

"Probably not," Cillian said. "Our valuation is under thirty billion. For Dawnstar, a project of this size isn't massive, so he generally wouldn't oversee it himself.

"I asked him about the operational details. He'll hand it off to his subordinates and only manage the strategy, risk control, high-level business negotiations, and resource coordination.

"On the technical side, he might ask you a few questions, but he won't nitpick as much as his team will.

"You'll have some interactions down the line, but not a lot. Don't worry."
