Read The Transactional Marriage That Imploded novel Bianca and Mathis Chapter 47 by Ansel Bick

Mathis replied smoothly, "You don't need to worry about my business, Mr. Calder. Though perhaps you should stop constantly referring to her as 'your junior.' The title sounds a bit too intimate."

Bianca rolled her eyes and snapped, "Isn't it intimate when you hold Cynthia's hand?"

Mathis stared at her face and said, "I'm not like you. I can do things that you can't."

The words made Bianca sick to her stomach.

Cillian mocked, "You truly excel at double standards, Mr. Jagger. But my relationship with her is entirely above board. We're just working on a project together. We're comrades in arms."

Bianca threw out a final remark. "When a person's mind is filthy, they see filth in everything. Not everyone is like you."

Mathis's handsome face turned frigid. "You certainly don't have the right to be like me."

Bianca figured his brain was misfiring again and walked away without looking back.

Cillian followed her down to the underground parking garage. The Progenix building really was lavish; the garage was brightly lit, clean, and immaculate.

Cillian said thoughtfully, "No wonder you want to finish up as soon as possible. If I were you, I couldn't stand him either."

Bianca said, "It's not just that. Mathis is also forcing me to attend the Quinn family's dinner party."

She told him about Mathis taking her grandmother away and blackmailing her.

Cillian knew about Bianca's family situation. Even with his years of cutthroat experience in the business world, he couldn't fathom Mathis's actions.

"What exactly is he trying to do?"

Bianca shook her head. "I don't know. Probably trying to score points with his woman!"

Cillian frowned. "Why didn't you tell me sooner? He definitely had someone mess with the security footage. I'll get someone to restore it. Why would you go into a tiger's den like the Quinn family? I'm worried they'll eat you alive. Don't worry about Mathis's threats. I'll handle it."

Bianca said gratefully, "Cillian, I'm sorry for the trouble."

Cillian was more than happy to share. "My friend's bastard husband is forcing her to attend a banquet hosted by her enemies. He kidnapped her grandmother and destroyed all the evidence. The guy is practically inhuman."

"Why hasn't she divorced him yet? Is she saving him for the holidays?"

Cillian rubbed his aching temples. "The guy refuses to sign the papers. Who knows what he's using to blackmail her."

Neither Bianca nor Xanthe had told Cillian that Mathis was using Stellaride Computing as leverage against her.

Everyone online cursed Mathis out for being a monster. Working together, the group of tech geniuses finally managed to restore the data by noon.

Cillian immediately handed the security footage over to the police. Following the clues in the video, Mabel was found late that afternoon.

Mabel's phone had been confiscated, so Bianca went to the police station to pick her up.

Seeing her grandmother sitting alone on a chair in the hallway, Bianca felt a wave of sorrow. Mathis really left no room for mercy.
