Chapter 28 Evil Hazel
Scarlett’s expression went cold. “Raymond, I thought I’d made myself clear. 1 again.”
ver call me
Raymond panicked. “Scarlett, I really do like you–you’ve misunderstood. Scarlett, what will it take for you to forgive me? Is your face any better? I found the best plastic surgeon overseas for you. Don’t worry about the scar on your face. I’ll help you fix it.”
“No need.” Scarlett’s gaze was ice–cold. “I can heal my own face. And since you like holding your girlfriend’s little sister to comfort her so much, then knock yourself out. We have nothing to do with each other anymore. If you call me again, don’t blame me for cursing you out.”
With that, Scarlett hung up.
Then, she blocked the number.
Everyone in the living room stared, eyes wide.
Holy crap, what kind of bombshell did they just overhear?
The livestream exploded.
“Whoa, that’s huge gossip. So, who was on the other end of that call with Scarlett?”
“Judging from what she said, was that her boyfriend? But she just accused him of hugging his girlfriend’s little sister to ‘comfort‘ her? Isn’t her sister Hazel? No way, ric
“I remember Scarlett did have a boyfriend–high school puppy love, right?”
“So, her boyfriend was hugging Hazel to ‘comfort‘ her?”
Scarlett’s family situation wasn’t a secret online. Everyone knew she’d grown up with her biological father and that things had been pretty rough at home.
She had a half–sister on her father’s side.
Her stepmother and that sister were supposedly very good to her.
That little sister, Hazel, was also a rising star in the entertainment industry.
But Hazel was nothing like Scarlett, who was hated across the entire internet.
In just two years since her debut, Hazel had almost become everyone’s “nation’s little sweetheart.”

People praised Hazel as sweet, well–behaved, considerate, and polite, always taking care of
others on set.
Even within the industry, everyone spoke highly of Hazel and genuinely liked
On top of that, Hazel had great resources. In just two years, she’d already worked with famous directors and acted opposite several top–tier male leads.
So Hazel’s fanbase was pretty huge.
“Ha, Scarlett’s just an ungrateful brat.”
“Exactly. The Baileys treat her so well, Hazel treats her so well–she even gave Scarlett some of her resources in the past–and now, Scarlett dares to smear Hazel on a live show.”
“Scarlett should get out of the industry. How dare she slander my girl?”
At this point, the entire livestream chat was basically one long string of curses aimed at Scarlett.
Raymond, on the other end of the call, stared at his phone, face dark with embarrassment.
What was wrong with Scarlett?
He was certain she’d loved him deeply before.
Just because he’d hugged Hazel to comfort her, Scarlett could toss her feelings for him aside this fast?
Raymond was out of options and could only text Hazel. “Hazel, I’m sorry.. still couldn’t help you, and now, Scarlett said more nonsense about you on the show.”
Hazel replied, “It’s okay, Raymond, it’s not your fault. It’s my bad–I shouldn’t have asked you to call Scarlett for me. She’s definitely still angry right now. We’re only worried about her. Since she’s said all that, let’s just give her a few more days to calm down.”
After replying to Raymond, Hazel, seething, looked over at Leona beside her.
“Mom, what do we do now?”
She never expected Scarlett to dare expose this on a live show,
Leona’s expression had gone dark as well.
Scarlett had gotten onto this show because Leona had connections with some of Bluebird Media’s higher–ups.
The idea had been: since Scarlett was disfigured now, they’d kick her while she was down–drag

every bloody detail of her ruined face out in front of the public so netizens would mock and despise her.
Under that pressure, Scarlett would eventually crumble, lose all confidence, a back home.

Maybe then, Leona could use the chance to make Scarlett completely obedient to her.
But she hadn’t expected Scarlett to shine on the show–so much so that even the scars on her face were fading fast.
