Chapter 53 The Hater and His Condition
The repair shop and the zoo all had fixed work locations.
The seven guests each went to start their jobs.
Among all the livestreams, Scarlett’s and Simon’s rooms had the most viewers.
By late morning, Simon’s livestream ranked first.
He was already a car guy. Fixing and modifying vehicles came naturally to him.

On top of that, he was the heir of Bluebird Media. He was tall, handsome, and confident. Attention followed him everywhere.
Scarlett’s livestream, however, kept losing viewers.
All morning, she did nothing. She sat cross–legged under a tree, eyes closed, unmoving. She didn’t speak. She didn’t open her eyes even once.
The camera crew had nothing to do.
They bought a few small sodas and hid under a big tree behind her. There was shade. They took turns napping after they finished their drinks. Life was good.
Around 12:30 p.m., Scarlett finally opened her eyes. She walked to a nearby bakery, bought ten bagels, ate them quickly, then returned to her spot. She closed her eyes again and kept meditating.
Viewers found it boring.
They felt that Scarlett would probably spend all five days like this.
By about 3 p.m., people who had gone home for lunch started coming back out. Older folks and mothers with strollers filled the paths again.
They remembered Scarlett.
Seeing her still sitting there, they couldn’t help but speak up.
“You’ve been sitting here for hours,” one man said. “What are you doing exactly?”
“Miss,” an old woman added, “what kind of work is this? Can it really make money? You don’t even look 20. You should be in school.”
Scarlett sighed helplessly and opened her eyes. She asked gently, “Guys, do you want a reading?

She wasn’t lying. Even though her ability wasn’t strong enough to see the full thread of fate yet, reading fate through astrological charts, physiognomy, and palm lines was still easy for her.
“Oh my, this girl sure knows how to brag.”
“Forget it. She won’t listen anyway.”
The older folks shook their heads. They thought she was daydreaming about getting rich through social media.
Since that persuasion didn’t work, they all walked away.
Scarlett was about to close her eyes again.
Just then, a young man walked over from a distance. He looked about 20. He was around 5’9“, had permed hair, neat features, and a few acne spots on his face.
When he saw Scarlett, his eyes lit up. He jogged over and squatted in front of her.
Scarlett looked at him calmly. “Hello. Would you like a psychic reading?”
The young man nodded fast. “Yes! Yes! Scarlett, it really is you! I watched your livestream during lunch. The background looked familiar, and I didn’t expect it to be right near my apartment! Haha.”
As he spoke, he stared at her face.
The scar on her cheek was faint. Her skin was extremely fair and soft with a healthy glow. Other than that scar, there wasn’t a single flaw. It looked smooth and clean.
Her eyes were clear and calm. Her brows and gaze felt gentle. Even the heat of summer seemed to fade when you looked at her.
His ears turned red. He used to be one of Scarlett’s haters.
Now he didn’t even know if he still wanted to mock her after the reading.
Scarlett smiled slightly. “What would you like to ask? A reading here costs 200 dollars.”
The young man scratched his head. “Uh, okay, just read anything. But I have to tell you this. If you get it wrong, you can’t charge me, and you also have to—”
“What?” Scarlett asked.
He clenched his teeth and said, “You have to apologize to Hazel. Before, you said Hazel hugged
