Maggie sounded hyped, with excitement leaking into her voice.

Scarlett already knew why. Someone had definitely leaked the story about her saving someone at Brookriver Hospital this morning.

She opened Instagram to check.

The top two trending topics were both about her.

It seemed that those entertainment reporters still had a conscience and didn’t twist the headline.

She clicked into it to watch. The video was surprisingly clear. It had to be shot by those reporters this morning.

Her tone was way nicer than the real message.

What Cedric actually said was, “Call Scarlett. We’re doing PR now. Don’t let her keep biting people online like a rabid dog. And get IT to hack her Instagram password and lock her out.”

They were worried Scarlett would say something rash again.

But after trying for a while, the IT team couldn’t hack her password.

Cedric went silent for a long moment before asking Maggie to call Scarlett again and request the password.

Scarlett replied flatly, “Oh.”

As long as Zayden didn’t smear her, she wouldn’t insult him. When the hype peaked in a few days, she would release the evidence.

Maggie asked carefully, “Scarlett, can you give the company your Instagram password?”

“Nope.”

Scarlett hung up. She wasn’t planning to check Instagram again and was about to make a facial mask. But then, she noticed Zayden had tagged her. She clicked in.

“Scarlett, I didn’t plan to respond, but the public deserves an explanation.

I’m sorry sorry about your injury. I failed to manage my fans properly. I’ll cover your medical bills through your company. That girl is young and acted on impulse. She’s now in custody. I hope you can forgive her and not press charges.

“As for the audition day, the director did ask you to call me over, but no one pushed you. It was just the two of us in the room. Please stay respectful online and stop making unfounded claims. And about what you said regarding backlash? Sorry, I don’t understand what you mean.”

The truth was that Zayden had ordered his agent to shove Scarlett into him.
