The Ultimate Reborn Heiress (Scarlett) novel Chapter 9

[What did Scarlett just claim? Zayden’s manager pushed her?]

[So that’s why Scarlett wouldn’t let Zayden go; his manager was the one who shoved her?]

[Don’t be ridiculous. Scarlett’s clearly spiraling. You actually believe this? She’s just making things up to ruin Zayden.]

[Two hours until eight. We’ll see whether she’s insane or whether she really has receipts.]

[Lol. Scarlett, just quit the industry already.]

Zayden had no idea that he and Scarlett had climbed back onto the trending list. He was busy filming on set.

[Zayden’s Manager Pushed Scarlett]

[Scarlett to Reveal Everything at Eight]

Once filming wrapped, he noticed his manager acting strange, while several crew members kept stealing glances in his direction.

Zayden frowned, still clueless, when his manager, Linda, dragged him straight into the RV.

She slammed the door shut and burst out in panic, “Zayden, we’re in serious trouble.”

She thrust her phone at him, Scarlett’s post filling the screen.

Zayden’s expression shifted instantly.

Aside from him and Linda, the only one who knew the truth was the hacker who erased the surveillance footage.

Yet Scarlett had now gone public, directly accusing Linda of pushing her from behind.

Neither he nor Linda had ever told Scarlett.

Had that hacker sold the footage to her?

Then he noticed a tagged account called “ZayZay,” and his frown deepened.

That was one of his fans, the obsessive type who confessed their love in his DMs daily,

He couldn’t stop himself from snapping, “What an idiot fan, stirring trouble like it’s entertainment.”

Why were his fans always so brainless?

One of them had already wrecked Scarlett’s appearance. If that hadn’t happened, she wouldn’t be hounding him like a rabid dog now.

This one must’ve been spamming her comments nonstop, demanding proof, and finally pushed her too far.

Damn it.

What he couldn’t tell was whether Scarlett truly had evidence or was just bluffing.

Still uneasy, he decided to contact the hacker who wiped the footage.

The hacker went by the alias Ash.

Zayden sent him a message.

Zayden wrote, [Ash, that surveillance video won’t surface, right? Scarlett says she’s got proof and is accusing Linda directly.]

Ash wrote, [?]

Ash wrote, [What are you talking about? You think I gave her the footage? I erased it completely. Even I couldn’t recover it.]

Jobs like that were done clean–no backups, no traces.

Zayden replied, [No, no, Ash, then how does Scarlett know?]

Ash wrote, [As long as you and your manager didn’t leak anything, there’s no way she restored it. There are only two people better than me. Other than them, no one can recover what I delete. And those two wouldn’t take a job like this for money.]

Zayden finally relaxed a little.

He figured Scarlett was just guessing.
