The Unwavering Heart That Broke (Nathalie and Lance) novel Chapter 482

Chapter 482

Chapter 482

“Isn’t this our deal?”

Lance’s low voice was incredibly hoarse. As he spoke, his lips brushed against her sensitive skin, sending a violent shiver through her body.

His gaze darkened. He stared at her for a long moment before suddenly biting down lightly.

Nathalie gasped.

His breathing grew heavier. Nathalie’s eyes glazed over slightly, her legs losing all their strength as she began to slide down the door.

He caught her by the waist, effortlessly lifting her and wrapping her legs around his lean torso.

His dominant weight pressed against her, his commanding presence leaving no room for escape as they melded together.

Nathalie stopped talking, squeezing her eyes shut and emptying her mind, refusing to think about anything.

But this man’s tactics were utterly wicked.

He deliberately played on her sensitive nerves, watching her body betray her with every touch.

She couldn’t control her reactions.

Nathalie bit her lip hard, but he quickly kissed her again, forcing her mouth open and drawing soft, fragmented moans from her as they tangled together.

A shiver ran down Nathalie’s spine. Her instincts screamed at her to flee, but the moment she tried to pull away, he hauled her right back.

“Where are you running? Your body is enjoying this.”

By the time dusk fell, the room had plunged into shadows.

Chapter 482

Drained of all her energy, Nathalie leaned weakly back on the sofa, the man’s warm breath ghosting over her neck. After a long moment, he picked her up and carried her into the bathroom.

The brightly lit mirror reflected their intertwined figures.

Her radiant skin was covered in possessive marks, while raw scratches trailed down his broad back. Neither of them had held back.

The warm water washed over them, rinsing away the heavy, musky scent of their intimacy.

Leaning softly against his chest, completely spent, Nathalie asked, “I’ve already paid in full. Can you tell me now?”

Lance chuckled softly. “The company Fabian works for has been experiencing some turbulence lately. The previous management team was completely replaced. Right around that time, someone from the old leadership reached out to Fabian. I intercepted the message. The person wants to meet Fabian at BlueNight.”

Nathalie immediately perked up. Pushing slightly against his chest, she looked up at him. “I want to go.”

Lance met the bright determination in her eyes, his tone flat. “We can’t be sure yet if the person meeting Fabian is the mastermind who ordered the hit on you.”

Nathalie countered, “But we can’t rule out the possibility, can we?”

Lance raised an eyebrow slightly. “I can take you, but you need to play by my rules.”

Nathalie frowned. “Lance, I really hate it when you talk to me like that. What do you mean, play by your rules? This is about my own life. How could I not be careful?”
