"Yeah."
Lance turned his head toward Aaron, his expression instantly shifting. The fragile, pathetic vulnerability vanished without a trace, replaced by absolute icy authority.
"What did Lawrence say?" he demanded flatly.
"Mr. Lawrence hasn't replied to any of the messages," Aaron answered.
"Heh." Lance let out a dark, mocking scoff. "Looks like he's begging for his life to be ruined."
"Should we leak his current coordinates to his enemies?" Aaron asked.
"Give him one last warning," Lance ordered coldly. "If he doesn't take the opportunity, expose his location to the world."
"Understood." Aaron gave a curt nod and stepped out of the room to execute the order.

Across the ocean.
A private helicopter touched down on the helipad of a remote island. The cabin doors slid open, and the violent downwash whipped at the man's clothes and dark hair.
Tall and imposing, the man stepped out. Even behind his dark sunglasses, his striking bone structure was evident, but his entire body practically radiated a homicidal fury.
He bypassed the security detail, slid into an exotic sports car, and slammed on the gas. The car tore down the coastal road toward the sprawling castle in the distance, pushing terrifying speeds.
Suddenly, his phone buzzed with an urgent email notification. He glanced at the screen. The moment he registered that the sender was Lance, he slammed on the brakes, the tires screaming against the asphalt.
He rolled down the window, letting the salty sea breeze tear through the cabin, hoping it would cool the suffocating rage burning in his chest.
Snatching his phone, he opened the thread. Three emails in total. The first two demanded intel on Sylvie Winter and the mysterious mercenary. The third was a blatant threat: *Reply now, or your coordinates go public.*
"Damn it," Lawrence cursed under his breath. He ripped off his sunglasses, threw them onto the passenger seat, and aggressively typed out his reply.
As soon as the email sent, he powered off his phone, threw the car back into drive, and gunned it toward the castle.
