The Unwavering Heart That Broke (Nathalie and Lance) novel Chapter 723

Chapter 723

Nathalie’s eyes widened in shock. She grabbed Lance’s arm, her grip tight

with panic.

Lance covered her hand with his own, his voice steady. “What country did he go to?”

“Isla Borrero.”

Octavia took a jagged breath. “Did he find a lead on Damaris? Is he going after her?”

The answer was glaringly obvious.

The only thing that could make Bagot lose his mind like this was

Damaris.

He had left without a single word.

Lance’s demeanor turned intensely somber. “I’ll have my people intercept him and drag him back.”

“Please do,” Octavia pleaded. “Make sure he comes back in one piece.”

“I will.”

Ending the call, Lance turned to Nathalie. “Call Aaron.”

Nathalie quickly found Aaron’s contact and hit dial. It rang three times before he picked up. “Boss?”

“Bagot flew to Isla Borrero,” Lance ordered sharply. “Get in touch with Neely. Tell him I don’t care what it takes, but he needs to intercept him.”

Aaron paused, instantly recognizing the severity of the situation.

“Understood. I’m on it.”

When the call disconnected, a deep crease formed between Lance’s

brows. “He’s out of his mind.”

Bagot had barely recovered. He couldn’t even win a fight against Nicol. How did he think he could waltz into Lawrence’s territory alone?

The mechanical voice from Nathalie’s phone suddenly spoke up. “He has a clear destination. Do you think he knows exactly where she is?”

Even through the artificial tone, Lance could hear her desperation.

“You showed him the photo, didn’t you?” Lance replied. “He probably spotted something in the background.”

Nathalie’s expression was incredibly grim.

She was terrified for Damaris, but she was equally terrified of Bagot blindly rushing in. Lawrence was a lunatic. If Bagot trespassed into his domain, there was no telling what kind of hell he would face.

Elara chimed in softly. “Is he going after his wife?”

“Yes.”

A look of admiration flashed in Elara’s eyes. “He always seemed so

carefree and brash. I had no idea he loved her that much.”

She cast a pointed glance at Lance and clicked her tongue. “Some guys really set the bar high. Others just belong in the trash.”

Lance remained silent.

The atmosphere in the living room grew suffocatingly tense.

Aaron arrived at Lumina Grand shortly after. He and Lance headed straight to the study to discuss business.

But everyone knew there were certain conversations meant to be kept

behind closed doors.
