Chapter 761
Red, sitting next to Nathalie, burst into laughter at the sight. He looked at her with a sleazy, flirtatious gaze. “Well, well, if it isn’t the speechless beauty. Is it safe for you to be eating out here all alone? How about we stick around and keep you company? Give us your number.
He slammed his phone on the table right in front of her.
Nathalie’s beautiful brows furrowed slightly. She had no interest in getting into a pointless altercation with these kinds of people, so she stood up, ready to leave.
But Red shot his hand out, grabbing her arm. “Hey, don’t walk away. I’m talking to you. I don’t mind that you’re mute, but are you deaf, too?”
Nathalie’s eyes turned instantly ice-cold. In one fluid motion, she grabbed his wrist and twisted it backward. With a calculated snap, his arm bent into an unnatural angle, and Red let out an agonizing howl.
“Let go… let go of me!”
Seeing this, Red’s companions shoved their chairs back and stood up, glaring at her with open hostility.
Nathalie stared at Red with total indifference before violently shoving him away.
Cradling his throbbing wrist, Red’s face twisted in fury. “You ungrateful bitch…*
Spitting curses, he lunged forward. “Grab her, boys! Drag her into the alley!”
Outside lay the bustling Night Market, but behind them was a pitch-black alleyway. If they managed to drag her in there, the consequences would be unthinkable.
The four men charged at Nathalie all at once. She immediately turned on her heel to run.
The surrounding crowd gasped and scrambled backward, too terrified to intervene against the vicious-looking thugs.
Nicol, who had spotted the commotion from a distance, cursed under his breath and sprinted toward them.
But another figure was faster.
A man grabbed Nathalie’s arm, pulling her out of the way just as he delivered a brutal kick to Red’s chest, sending him flying backward. Without missing a beat, he released Nathalie and threw a devastating punch into the face of the next thug.
His movements were ruthless and efficient. In less than thirty seconds, all four men were groaning on the ground.
