Justin froze for a moment when he saw him.
He had seen Preston before.
This was supposed to be his cousin's husband!
Justin immediately felt like he had found a lifeline, but at the same time, he plunged into conflict and hesitation.
His cousin had told him absolutely not to let anyone else know about this...
But if he didn't seize the opportunity in front of him, he would likely be sent to jail.
What was he supposed to do now...
Preston spoke again, his voice cold and heavy. "Tell me, who exactly is your cousin?"
Justin's eyes shifted, trapped in deep hesitation.
Right then, he suddenly spotted a familiar figure.
When Jenna stepped out of the crowd, she drew many eyes.
Facing everyone's probing gazes, she forced herself to act like nothing was wrong and walked over.
"Preston, why haven't you come over yet? I've been waiting for you for so long..."
Halfway through her sentence, she feigned surprise.
"What's going on here? Why are so many of you grabbing these boys?"
Justin was still a kid, after all. He was used to acting tough and had never been treated like this.
Seeing Jenna, his eyes burned. Just as he was about to speak up aggrievedly, the person across from him suddenly shot him a fierce glare.
The words on the tip of his tongue froze abruptly.
Preston looked at Jenna. "Do you know him?"
Jenna withdrew her gaze from Justin, feigning ignorance. "What?"
She looked Justin up and down a few times herself, then shook her head. "No, I don't."
Preston asked, "Are you sure?"
Jenna put on a perplexed look. "Preston, why are you suddenly asking me this?"
She looked around, utterly confused.
"What exactly happened?"
