As he was carried off, Theron made a face at Winona. Yulen offered a few words of reprimand to Theron, but it was clear he didn't take it seriously.

Winona didn't hold back. She grabbed the vase from the table, tossed the flowers onto the sofa, and splashed the water all over the bratty kid.

Willow and Paige's expressions soured instantly.

"Winona, what are you doing! Theron's just a child! Why are you, an adult, stooping to his level!"

Winona set the vase down. "Children need proper guidance from adults," she said calmly. "If you don't teach him now, Theron will become even more unruly. It would be a shame if he offended someone important later on. After all, your family associates with prominent people, and not everyone is like me, with no one to back me up, someone you can bully as you please."

Willow was furious. "What nonsense are you talking about? When have I ever bullied you?"

"Haven't you?"

Paige moved to slap Winona, but Yulen quickly intervened.

"Alright, that's enough from both of you. Theron does need to be taught a lesson. Let's just drop it this time."

Theron, soaked to the skin, was screaming and shouting as the nanny held him back. Paige was trembling with rage, but seeing Yulen's expression, she suppressed her anger and took her son to the bedroom to change.

Yulen turned to Winona, a hint of disapproval in his voice. "Did you have to overreact like that?"

Winona shot back, "Is this what you call your family being nice to me? I'm not seeing it."

Yulen was at a loss for words, unable to come up with a reply.

During the meal, Theron shot Winona a mischievous grin and deliberately flicked sauce from a dish onto her hand. Winona frowned and picked up the soup bowl from the table. Theron quickly dodged away.

Paige clamped her hand over Theron's mouth, her face turning pale.

Yulen looked at Theron. A moment ago, he'd thought Winona was being difficult, but now he saw that Theron was indeed out of line. "Theron, you've been far too mischievous. You're grounded for two days. No going out to play, just stay home and practice your penmanship."

Theron's face flushed with anger. His father was always busy, so Paige was the one who raised him. She often brought him to the Locke house, where Yulen used to dote on him. Now, Yulen was punishing him for some awful woman.

Theron's hatred for Winona deepened.

Yulen sighed and went to the bedroom to change.

Willow stared at Winona and sneered, "Are you trying to give me a heart attack?"

Winona ate her food slowly. "If you were more magnanimous, how could I possibly manage to upset you?"
