The Wife He Forgot to Marry novel Chapter 200

Yulen was unhappy, but he tried to coax her patiently. "Alright, I get it. You don't want a child right now, so we can postpone the plan. But don't kick me out. We're a married couple; sleeping in separate rooms is ridiculous. I did what you asked and fired Tallulah. You have no reason to be angry with me anymore."

He reached out to wrap his arms around her waist.

The touch made Winona feel nauseous. She violently twisted away, her voice dripping with sarcasm. "Yulen, are you incapable of understanding me? Just because I agreed to come back doesn't mean I'm willing to be intimate with you. You let Tallulah sleep in our bedroom, you let her take my position as director, you bought her countless luxury goods, and you let her hurt me time and time again. Have you forgotten all that? Do you think you can just wipe the slate clean? It's clear you still don't understand why I moved out in the first place."

Yulen sighed in frustration. "Tallulah was immature, and I've already disciplined her. And I only neglected your feelings because I was so busy with work. Please believe me, my heart has only ever had room for you. Stop obsessing over these little things. Don't be angry anymore. We're husband and wife, Winona. I have a right to be with you, and you can’t keep pushing me away."

He leaned in to kiss her, but Winona turned her head away. He let out an exasperated laugh, his grip on her waist tightening to keep her from escaping. He was a firm believer that a fight that started in the bedroom could be ended by making up in it. Once he pleased her physically, her heart was sure to forgive him.

Trapped in his arms, Winona couldn't move. She lowered her head and sank her teeth into his arm, hard.

Yulen let out a muffled grunt and released her. He stared at her in disbelief, his eyes wide at the icy hatred in her gaze. "Winona, you bit me?"

The taste of blood was still in her mouth. She stared at him coldly. "Yulen, do you really think forcing me will make things go back to how they were?"

"Forcing you?" Yulen frowned. How could what was happening between them be called force?

Suddenly, Cora's voice came from outside the bedroom. "Sir, there's a call from the main residence. They said you need to go over."

Yulen glanced at Winona, then turned and left the room without another word, his face a stony mask.
