Winona ignored the coffee, her eyes meticulously scanning the contract in her hands. Only after ensuring there were no hidden clauses did she sign her name on the dotted line.
She looked up at Yulen. "I have to get to work this afternoon. Let's head over and process the legal transfer right now."
Yulen chuckled, a little helpless. "In that much of a rush? Alright, I'll have my assistant go with you."
Barely a minute after Winona walked out, Camille stepped into the office. Her eyes landed on the signed stock transfer agreement resting on the desk. She picked it up, skimmed the contents, and her face instantly drained of color.
"You're transferring two percent of your personal shares to Winona? Have you lost your damn mind? Yulen, you need to get that back immediately. I will not allow you to do something this stupid!"
Yulen took a slow sip of his coffee, entirely unbothered. "What are you panicking for, Camille? You're forgetting one crucial detail: Winona and I never actually got a marriage license."
Camille blinked, struggling to follow his logic. "What does that mean?"
Yulen smirked. "Under family law, it's very clear. If an individual transfers a massive amount of joint assets—like company equity—to a 'third party' outside of a legal marriage, it can be contested as an unauthorized gift. Legally, it's invalid. All I have to do is file a claim, and a judge will order her to return every single share. You have nothing to worry about. Winona can't legitimately keep the stock. If she ever betrays me, I can claw it all back in a heartbeat."
Camille stared at him, genuinely surprised he had exploited such a ruthless legal loophole. "You're really willing to scheme against Winona like that?"
She had honestly thought Yulen was so obsessed with Winona lately that he had lost his mind.
Yulen laughed softly. "How is this scheming? I'm just protecting the Locke family's interests. Besides, as long as she stays loyal to me, the shares are hers. I won't ask for them back."

After finalizing the transfer with Yulen's assistant, Winona headed straight to Hayes Yarwood's law firm.
Hayes was a bit surprised to see her walk in during the middle of the day. "Ms. Jowett, is there something I can help you with?"
He fully expected her to ask about Stefan, but instead, she slid a stock transfer agreement across his desk.
