One of the new shop owners, hearing she was from the Locke family, greeted her enthusiastically. "I’m Tallulah’s cousin! We heard from her mom in the family chat that relatives could set up shop here rent-free, so we signed up. Hey, you must be Tallulah’s sister-in-law, right? Thanks so much for looking out for us!"
Paige's face turned white with rage. She couldn't believe Yulen would give the storefronts at Harmony Arcade to Tallulah. And Tallulah had the audacity to use Locke family assets to subsidize her own relatives. She could live in a Locke house and drive a Locke car, but that didn't make those things hers. The Locke family's assets had absolutely nothing to do with Tallulah!
Paige called Tallulah to arrange a meeting. Thinking Paige wanted to have coffee, Tallulah happily agreed.
Seeing Paige's furious expression, Winona could guess she was off to confront Tallulah, and a feeling of delight washed over her.

Conrad sent her an invitation to a medical symposium, asking if she was interested. The topics appealed to her, so she agreed to go.
On Sunday evening, she drove to the event. Conrad, a veteran in the industry, knew many people and was busy networking. Winona sat by herself, looking through the event materials. One of the speakers was a leading figure in traditional medicine—Jericho Harper.
Winona had read many of his academic papers and held him in high regard, hoping for a chance to speak with him.
When Jericho began his presentation, Winona not only listened intently but also took notes. Noticing that she was the most attentive person in the audience, Jericho smiled and called on her to answer a few questions.
Winona had studied traditional medicine with her grandfather. Although she had never practiced formally, she had continued to study his medical books over the years and had retained her knowledge.
Jericho was very pleased with her answers. After his speech, he had his assistant get her contact information. Winona was thrilled.
Winona was taken aback. Seeing her hesitate, Jericho thought she was unwilling.
"Of course, I accept," Winona quickly said.
Stefan sat beside them, silent throughout the exchange.
After dinner, Stefan and Jericho left together.
"Weren't you just saying you wanted to recommend a student to me?" Jericho asked Stefan.
