This was Winona's second formal encounter with Daisy.
The last time at the hospital, Daisy's pitiful crying was still fresh in her mind.
But Daisy's demeanor was completely different now.
She wore an elegant light green vintage dress, her hair pinned up, revealing a beautiful neckline. She exuded femininity, speaking with a gentle smile and an alluring gaze that seemed to melt people.
No wonder Orion couldn't resist her charm.
While Winona observed her, Daisy was sizing Winona up too.
Seeing Winona as a girl with a gentle, classic elegance and non-aggressive beauty, Daisy figured it out.
Men had fixed types they preferred.
Even a man like Stefan, who never let anyone get close, was no exception.
Ophelia was the intellectual, elegant type. If Stefan didn't fall for her, there was nothing to be done.
Winona nodded at Orion and Daisy as a greeting.
There was a young man beside them.
Orion introduced him. "This is Mr. Wesley Hewitt, Director Hewitt's son."
They had invited Wesley to dinner specifically to connect with the Director.
Seeing Winona, Wesley smiled and offered his hand. "Ms. Jowett, I saw the news of your award. You're outstanding. I look forward to being friends."
Wesley's grandfather was a retired professor in pharmaceutical research, and Wesley himself had invested in three private hospitals. Thus, he highly appreciated Winona.
Winona shook his hand and smiled. "You flatter me, Mr. Hewitt."
