Mrs. Mallory's sister, Jacqueline Stockton, showed up at the Goddard estate multiple times to throw a fit, but before the staff even had to kick her out, her own son dragged her away.
They were all terrified of crossing Stefan and having their businesses obliterated as collateral damage. Besides, Mrs. Mallory had attempted murder; facing the consequences was exactly what she deserved.
Wanda Zeller and Daisy Falconer were secretly disappointed by the outcome.
"Looks like Stefan is dead set on protecting Winona," Wanda sighed over coffee. "I wouldn't dare cross his precious darling now. Let's just forget about our little partnership."
Daisy let out a sharp laugh. "Are you really giving up so easily, Wanda? The main branch of the family already controls the lion's share of the Goddard Group, and Stefan just purged all the relatives from the company. If we don't fight now, it's going to be impossible for our kids to ever get a foothold. Don't you want to secure something for them?"
Of course, Wanda wasn't thrilled about it, but Stefan's methods were too ruthless. They were entirely out of their league.
Previously, Stefan had exiled their side of the family abroad. If Glenda hadn't fallen ill and Gabriel Goddard hadn't pleaded on their behalf, they never would have been allowed back.
"You might be fine rolling over," Daisy said coldly, "but I'm not. Whatever belongs to me, I won't give up a single dime."

Stefan visited the hospital to see Shiloh.
Shiloh was visibly stunned that a man of Stefan's caliber would show up in person. "Mr. Goddard..."
Stefan poured him a glass of water and handed it over. "Mr. Reynolds, I am truly grateful that you saved Winona."
