The moment the door opened, Yvonne hoisted the filthy mop and lunged right at Hassan.

Standing off to the side, Natalie jumped backward in sheer panic. Hassan’s reflexes were razor-sharp, and he instantly dodged out of the way.

"You have the nerve to dodge?! Do you have any idea what you've done? How dare you show your face here!"

"Hassan, what are you doing here?" A voice called out from down the left corridor. It was Jacob Holt.

The shout diverted Yvonne's attention. She snapped her head to the left.

Jacob was dressed in high-end casual wear. He was tall, with facial features that bordered on a delicate, almost feminine beauty, yet grounded by a sharp, straight nose that gave him a clean-cut, handsome look.

Right beside him stood Gardenia, looking incredibly pale in a plain blue dress.

Their sudden appearance made the entire hallway freeze for a few seconds.

Pointing at Gardenia, Jacob demanded, "Gardenia is sick! Why aren't you with her? Why are you hanging around Natalie?"

Those words acted like a match to the dynamite in Yvonne's hands. She expertly swiveled the mop and aimed it straight at Jacob. "Where did you pop out from?! What kind of garbage is coming out of your mouth?! He is our Natalie's husband! If he's not with Natalie, who the hell is he supposed to be with?!"

"Ah!" Jacob couldn't dodge in time. The filthy, foul-smelling bathroom mop smacked directly into his designer clothes, ruining them completely.

Jacob couldn't tolerate it for even a second. His face twisted in disgust as he frantically tore off his jacket and scrambled away, shouting, "You crazy old bat! Unbelievable!"

Gardenia stood frozen, completely failing to process the chaos. Since Yvonne could no longer reach Jacob, she swung the mop wildly, catching Gardenia instead. Terrified, Gardenia stumbled backward, but because of her prosthetic leg, she lacked the balance of an able-bodied person. Caught off guard, she crashed heavily to the floor.
