Before they could even finish their first song, an older man stepped up beside them.
"Noble queens, may I have the honor of a dance?" he asked, bowing gracefully.
He looked to be in his fifties, a polite smile on his face, though his eyes burned with an uncomfortable eagerness.
Stella glanced him up and down. Seeing Suzie's blatant lack of interest, her lips curled into a teasing smirk. "Well, aren't you bold. Asking two beautiful women at the same time—which one of us are you actually inviting?"
The man's face flashed with embarrassment. Before he could formulate an answer, Stella fired another shot.
"You know, you're bound to offend someone this way. Think about it: if you ask my friend, I'll be incredibly insulted. And if you ask me, I could never bear to abandon my dear sister."
The man was left utterly speechless. Swallowing his pride, he quietly slinked away.
Watching his wide, thick-waisted figure retreat into the crowd, Stella burst out laughing.
Suzie gave her a gentle nudge. "You're terrible. Aren't you worried about offending someone?"
Stella tilted her chin up, a sly glint in her eyes. "You think I don't know who that is? He's just as much of a creep as Myron Finch. Just watch him dance with other women later—he's incredibly handsy. He was just drooling over how gorgeous you look."
Suzie smiled faintly and let it drop. The two of them continued to sway happily to the music, fully enjoying themselves.

Meanwhile, after Suzie had walked away, Jamie had delegated the entire mess to Aaron.
Jamie didn't answer immediately. His deep, intense gaze cut straight through the crowd, locked firmly on Suzie on the dance floor.
Under the dreamy, colorful lights, she moved with the fluid grace of a willow branch—soft yet incredibly strong.
Her steps were light, agile, hitting every beat of the music with absolute precision.
A faint, captivating smile graced her delicate features, and the slight tilt of her chin radiated an undeniable confidence and elegance.
As she danced, she looked like a night-blooming flower, utterly mesmerizing and easily outshining any A-list celebrity in the room.
In fact, amidst the chaotic energy of the grand ballroom, she made everything and everyone around her pale in comparison.
