The Years Between Signing and Seeing novel Chapter 529

Mia nodded enthusiastically. "Yeah, that's highly likely. Suzie, are you worried about that guy, Myron Finch?"

Suzie let out a soft sigh. "If we weren't a brand-new business trying to build momentum, I absolutely would not work with his company. But the contract is signed, and breaking it now means paying a hefty cancellation fee. Whatever. Let's just do this one shoot and see how it goes."

"Got it. From now on, any major contracts go through you for final approval before anyone signs a thing."

Suzie stood up slowly. "Good. Looking at this schedule, the shoot date is pretty tight. First thing tomorrow morning, have the team set up the antique camera in Studio One."

"Will do. I already mentioned during the wrap-up meeting that Studio One is strictly your personal playground from now on."

"Perfect. Let's pack up and head out. We're eating at my place tonight."

...

Three days later.

Studio One was prepped and ready for action.

Starlight's artist, Delilah Mercer, arrived at Iris Dream Studio exactly on time, trailed by an assistant.

Mia quickly organized the required crew and politely guided them toward the studio space.

"Right this way, Ms. Mercer."

"Thank you, Mia. I'm sorry to make you handle this personally," Delilah said politely, glancing at Mia's nametag.

"You're our very first VIP client here at Iris Dream—it's absolutely my pleasure." Mia smiled warmly, gesturing down the hall. "The dressing rooms, hair and makeup, and the studio itself are all downstairs in the basement. Watch your step on the stairs."
