"I don't have a fever, it's probably just the morning chill. Let's head back," Suzie said, forcing a gentle smile. "I'm sorry you got dragged into this nightmare, Mia."
Mia waved it off as they walked toward the exit. "Don't say that. It was an accident, and I'm fine. Once the painkillers fully kick in, the headache will be gone. Let's stop by the lounge first. I got us some drinks. We'll head out after."
Suzie nodded. "Did you see Aaron anywhere?"
Mia gestured with her chin. "Yeah, he's over in the lounge giving instructions to the security guys."
They walked over to the seating area. Just as they sat down and took a sip of their drinks, Aaron approached their table.
"Ms. Sterling," he greeted.
Suzie looked up. "Is there something you need, Aaron?"
Seeing his hesitation, she put her cup down and stood up. "Let's talk over there."
Aaron quickly followed her to a quiet corner of the lounge.
"Go ahead," she prompted.
