Tonight Her Love Ended novel Chapter 268

That night, after putting Latonia to sleep, Nova received a call from Tristan.

It was quiet on his end, his voice carrying a slight echo as he asked, "Where are you?"

Nova pressed her lips together. Now that the papers were signed, she didn't see the need to report her exact location. "Is something wrong?"

Tristan seemed to pause at her evasiveness. "We're going to the estate tonight, and the Serenity Springs Resort tomorrow. Did you miss my message?"

Nova had been too busy with Latonia. The little one had an amazing appetite and slept well, but when she fussed, it was a beautiful headache.

Throughout the whole ordeal, she hadn't had a single second to check her phone.

"I was a bit busy." Nova hesitated. "I don't think I'll go to the resort. I'll explain it to your grandmother later."

She wanted to spend the weekend with Latonia. Furthermore, Samuel had scheduled a meeting with the divorce lawyer, and she needed to present the agreement to him.

But the moment she finished speaking, a soft chuckle echoed through the line.

"With an attitude like this, I find it hard to believe you'll cooperate moving forward," Tristan said.

Nova was speechless. She was letting her emotions get the better of her.

The generous compensation Tristan had offered came with post-divorce stipulations—one being her complete cooperation during the transition.

If she refused, he could easily hold her legally accountable.

While she remained silent, his voice cut through again. "I will be revising the divorce agreement to account for your little mood swings. Make sure you bring the papers."

Nova felt a lump in her throat.

Hearing Latonia starting to stir, she quickly said, "Fine. I'm heading over now."

With that, she abruptly ended the call.

As soon as she arrived at the estate, Nova saw Tristan walking out to meet her.
