Chapter 244 Sales, Security, and Transport
Quincy instantly get it and gently warned–Elias, “No more climbing all over the place, got it?”
Kyle had already gotten dressed and walked over, nodding in agreement. “Exactly. Seriously.”
Elias shot him a glance.

Kyle immediately behaved himself and asked eagerly, “You tired? Wanna go sit over there for a bit? I’ll get you some water.”
“Stop hovering around us.” Elias shoved him toward Matthew and Yael. “If I need something, I’ll call you.”
“You hungry? Want something to eat?” Kyle kept twisting around to look back at him. “I brought fruit, jerky, fried mushrooms…”
Elias grabbed his face and turned his head forward. “Alright already. Quit nagging.”
Yael sat cross–legged on the ground with his elbow propped on his knee. He lifted a brow and said, “Look at you. You’re d*mn near grinning ear to ear.”
Kyle happily swayed his head side to side and sighed dramatically at the sky. “Man, how am I this lucky?”
Meanwhile, Daniel, still in beast form and carrying a mountain of stuff on his back, let out a low growl.
Get over here and help unload this stuff already. Are they seriously trying to work me to death?
Matthew nudged Yael with his foot. “Get moving.”
Yael stood up and brushed the grass off his butt. “Yeah, yeah. I’m coming.”
Zachary pulled out a bag of sweet–and–sour dried fruit from his pack. After opening it, he placed it in Elias‘ hands. “Try some. If you like it, I’ll make more when we get back and bring you some.”
Elias immediately threw his arms around him. “Zachary, why are you so nice to me?”
“Go on, try it.” Zachary laughed and patted his back.
“It’s good. Seriously, so good!” Elias nodded repeatedly. “Everything you make tastes amazing!”
Bruce and Donald showed up too. After unloading the things on their backs, they carried their clothes in their mouths and headed behind a tree to shift back into human form.
Business was booming. The moment the goods arrived, a huge crowd gathered around the stall.
Bruce joined in with the selling and clearly enjoyed himself. Not only did he help set out the new pottery and woven goods, but he could also go several rounds bargaining with customers.
Elias couldn’t sit still for long and started itching to help, too. The second he got close, though, Zachary stopped him. “You stay right there with Jaden and Taylor. Just keep an eye on our stuff.”
Kyle chimed in, “Yeah, there are too many therians over here. Be good and don’t come over, alright?”

“Got it.” Elias thought they were being a little overprotective, but he still obediently backed away.
Taylor hugged his arm. “Elias, Jaden and I will stay with you.”
Elias wrapped an arm around each of the cubs. “Thanks, you two.”
This time, there was a lot of stuff. Zachary and Matthew handled the middle, Quincy and Yael were on the right, Bruce and Donald were on the left, and the rest of the Kyle group were called “sales, security, and transport,” basically body–type all–rounders.
The Rabbit Tribe had just arrived. Seeing a stall packed with therians, they moved closer and only then realized it was the Black Panther Tribe.
Leslie squeezed through a gap at the edge. His fair cheeks were flushed red. “Mr. Bruce.”
Bruce looked up when he heard him and smiled. “You came.”
“Mr. Bruce, we brought a lot of herbs and wild greens this time.”
Bruce immediately got interested. “Little rabbit, see if there’s anything you want to trade for.”
Leslie said, “I’ll go call Willis and the others over.”
“Go on.”
Donald, standing nearby, suddenly said, “Leslie has a name.”
Bruce went, “Hm?”
Donald said, “Don’t keep calling him little rabbit.”
Bruce turned his head and raised a brow. “You’re not happy about it?”
Donald said nothing.
Bruce teased him on purpose. “Then should I call you big panther from now on?”
Donald gave him a helpless look. “No.”
Bruce spread his hands, holding back a laugh. “Then what, I call you little panther?”
Donald was completely speechless. Just hearing it gave him goosebumps.
Bruce leaned a little closer. “Then how about Don? You’ve been called that since you were young anyway How about it? Don, Don.”
Donald’s cheeks turned red while Bruce laughed even harder.
The Rabbit Tribe therians arrived with a lot of goods, piling them up in messy heaps on the ground.

Zachary and Bruce were their best customers, and they basically bought almost everything. Since the Rabbit Tribe therians had an earlier agreement to learn how to weave fishing cages from the Black Panther Tribe, they brought their goods straight over.
After things finally settled down, everyone could sit and rest. Taylor and Jaden went around handing out water and generously sharing their snacks.
Kyle noticed Elias had been staring at another stall, so he asked, “Wanna go take a look?”
Elias said, “Aren’t you tired?”
“Not really. Not if I’m with you.” Kyle stood up and reached out his hand with a smile. “But you have to hold my hand. It’s too crowded here.”
Elias smiled too. “Then let’s go.”
There were a lot of therian stalls around, and Elias liked checking everything out, so he was curious about everything he saw along the way. By the time they came back, he was already carrying a bunch of things.
“Quincy, Zachary, look what I traded for!” He eagerly showed off the shiny stones in his hand. “Pretty, right? You can turn them into bracelets or necklaces. And these plants can be used to dye hair. This one tastes kind of sour. Oh, right.”
He took the handful of roasted insects from Kyle and handed them out to everyone. “These are crunchy and really tasty. If you sprinkle some chili powder on them, they’d be even better.”
Yael tried one and said, “Hey, not bad. Nice and crispy.”
