Chapter 297 Overcome by Jealousy
“Why are you only back now? Are you tired?”
Matthew didn’t take his eyes off him and answered something unrelated, “You look good.”
“What?”
“Your hair looks really good.”

Zachary tilted his head, waved a hand in front of his eyes, and laughed: “Why are you staring like you’re in a daze?”
Matthew gulped. “I want to kiss you.”
The sudden bluntness caught Zachary off guard. He blinked in disbelief, then reached out and pinched Matthew’s cheek. “Are you so tired that you’re out of it?”
Matthew leaned closer, eager. “No.”
Zachary quickly looked around, then covered his mouth and coaxed him gently, “Let’s go home first. You can kiss me however you want when we’re home, okay?”
Matthew nodded and took his mate’s hand into his palm.
Zachary pulled him toward the cart. “I saved you some food. It’s still warm. Eat first, then get some proper
rest.”
After waking from his nap, Elias looked at the empty cave and felt a little hollow inside. He got dressed and went out, wanting to look for Kyle.
He had just reached the marketplace when Zachary spotted him. Zachary quickly pulled him out of the crowd, used the cart as a small table, and Quincy even brought over a bowl of hot stew from next door.
The moment Elias saw Zachary and Quincy, he completely forgot about Kyle. He happily accepted their feeding, and only after eating his fill did he remember the whole point of coming here.
At that moment, Kyle was watching over the stall. Quite a few people had come by, but they were rather difficult, bargaining aggressively.
“Our fruits are very hard to harvest.”
“Feel this beast hide. It’s really soft and smooth.”
“Throw in a few more clay pots.”
Kyle didn’t back down at all. His mouth was truly a gift—he handled everything smoothly, going back and forth without losing ground.

“Production is a hassle, you know.”
“Look at the quality and craftsmanship–it’s top–notch.”
“If we go any lower, we’ll take a big loss.”

The sub–therians on the other side didn’t stand a chance. Several of them worked together and almost pulled Kyle out from behind the stall.
“Hey!” Kyle looked horrified. “Are you trying to rob me?” he shrieked. “I already have a mate! What are you doing?”
When Elias came over happily holding a lunchbox, he saw Kyle struggling with several sub–therians. The smile on his face froze instantly. He stood there, glaring at the scene.
Kyle seemed to sense something and suddenly turned his head. Surprised, he asked, “Elias? Why are you here?”
Elias said nothing, and Kyle began to panic.
He struggled free from the customers and quickly walked over, forcing a flattering smile. “Is it hot? Want to sit down and rest?”
Elias angrily shoved the lunchbox into his arms and punched him on the shoulder. “You can do that by yourself!”
After saying that, he turned and ran off, one hand holding his belly. Anyone could tell that he was furious.
Feeling terrified, Kyle quickly chased after him. “Slow down, Elias! Don’t run…”
After finally catching him and pulling him into an embrace, Elias struggled like a big carp, impossible to hold down.
Kyle didn’t dare use force. “I swear, nothing was happening. They couldn’t bargain with me, got anxious, then tried to grab me. Look, they even scratched me—it really hurts.”

Elias suddenly stopped moving, his face turning a bit pale. “My stomach hurts.”
Kyle immediately let go, completely panicked. “What’s wrong? Don’t move. I’ll take you to the shaman.”
“Don’t touch me.” Taking the chance, Elias shoved him away and walked forward with his head down.
Kyle followed behind nervously the whole way. In the end, he still couldn’t enter the cave. With no choice, he squatted at the entrance and carefully explained everything that had just happened from start to finish.
After listening, Elias‘ anger had mostly faded. He planned on letting him inside, but as he lay there, he grew sleepy and soon fell asleep.
When he woke up, he saw Kyle staring at him eagerly. Elias looked away and muttered. “I’m hungry.”

Chapter 297 Overcome by Jealousy
This was their unique way of making up–if he said he was hungry, it meant he was no longer angry.
Kyle nodded repeatedly go make you something!”
The weather gradually grew hotter. At noon, Zachary only wore a short–sleeved shirt. The bracelet on his wrist was almost never the same each day–Matthew would carefully choose one for him every morning and put it on himself.
The long–eared beasts had given birth to two more litters. Meanwhile, the clucking beasts and quacking beasts laid eggs every day and had even hatched chicks. Jaden fed them with great enthusiasm, often digging for worms and catching insects to give them extra food.
Similarly, the little moo beasts had grown a lot. Not only could they grind grain and pull carts, but they would also obediently let people ride on their backs–but only Zachary and Jaden.
Perhaps Matthew was a bit too fierce, or maybe a bit too heavy; in any case, the little moo beasts would hide whenever they saw him.
The crops in the fields were growing well, lush and green. Crops were growing. When the wind blew, they moved like waves in the sea.
However, it hadn’t rained for a while, so Zachary led the tribe to water the fields. With bamboo tubes guiding the flow, it wasn’t too tiring.
Taylor’s front teeth had fully grown in, and he smiled even more brightly every day. He ran all over the mountains and fields from morning to night.
Both children were growing quickly, already beginning to look like adults.
