"Always talking about property. I swear you're paranoid or something?" Patrick shook his head and walked away, any previous pity already forgotten. Sometimes, he just didn't get it. Why did his wife have to act like this?

Now Aiden and Alex were missing, and she still didn't get it!

After her husband left, Sophia pulled out her phone and dialed Leah, "Any news on your end?"

"Still can't find the kids! I'm looking near the Melendez family's place."

"Let me meet up with you then. Send me the address."

"Alright!"

Sophia quickly changed her clothes, grabbed her bag, and headed out. She thought it wouldn't take long, but it was quite a while before she finally caught sight of Leah.

Leah was a mess, her clothes dirty and her appearance disheveled.

Seeing Leah in this state, Sophia was even more certain she was right. This was how a mother should look!

If Clara knew the kids were missing now, she would probably be thrilled! Even if she did join the search, she'd probably be half-hearted about it.

Leah's eyes were red from crying, her worried and scared expression mirroring Sophia's.

Sophia nodded satisfactorily, "Ever since I first met you, I felt a connection. To think you're actually Aiden and Alex's birth mom, it's like fate!"

"Uh-huh..." Leah pursed her lips.

"We need to find the kids as soon as possible. I have a plan. If all goes well, my son will change his attitude towards you soon."

Leah paused, then nodded, "You look tired too. You should rest. I'll go check ahead."

With that, she ran off. The sight of her desperate figure was just like a mother searching for her children.
