Leah had fallen silent, but Newell just kept rambling on, oblivious to her mood. "Look at me, being all honorable and stuff. I didn't go running off to the Melendezes with the antidote to screw up your plans, did I? So, I'm just saying it'd be in your best interest to treat me nice. If we play it cool, everybody wins. But if one of us goes down, the other's gonna have a hell of a time too, you know?"

With that, Newell hung up the call, leaving Leah so mad she wanted to smash her phone to bits!

But something he had said struck a chord.

She was not the only one with the antidote in this crazy world!

"How did it go? What did your friend say? Can my boy..."

"Don't worry, I won't let anything happen to Emmett. I've already spoken to him. He'll be here to check on Emmett as soon as possible."
