Unloved Unwanted Unstoppable (Seraphina and Dominic) novel Chapter 306

The airport's arrival hall was an absolute zoo of travelers.

Seraphina spotted Xavier near the exit almost immediately.

He was standing beside a towering stack of luggage on a cart, his features as warm and inviting as she remembered.

"Prima!"

The moment he saw her, Xavier abandoned his cart, strode over, and wrapped her in a massive bear hug.

"It's been way too long. I missed you to death."

Seraphina wheezed, patting his back aggressively. "Let go, Xavier! You're literally suffocating me."

Laughing, he finally released her and gave her a critical once-over. "You've lost weight, but your complexion is radiant."

Seraphina smiled fondly. "Stop flattering me. Let's get out of here."

Together, they began pushing the luggage cart toward the exit doors.

Suddenly, Xavier's footsteps faltered. His sharp gaze locked onto a couple standing a short distance away.

He narrowed his eyes and gave Seraphina's sleeve a sharp tug.

"Isn't that your husband? Is he seriously parading around in public with his mistress?"

Seraphina didn't even blink. "Relax. We've already signed the divorce papers. The final decree comes through in a few days."

A flash of vicious delight crossed Xavier's face. "Good riddance. That guy has scumbag written all over him."

"Besides, if the decree isn't finalized, he's technically still cheating on you. What a shameless piece of trash."

He deliberately raised his voice on the final few words. It wasn't a shout, but it was perfectly pitched to carry over the ambient noise, straight into the ears of the offending couple.

Dominic froze in his tracks. He turned his head, his handsome face darkening with palpable irritation.

Meeting Dominic's hostile stare head-on, Xavier didn't retreat a single inch. Instead, he tilted his chin up arrogantly. "It's wild, isn't it, Prima? Some people are just absolute garbage, flaunting their adultery like it's a badge of honor. Back in the day, trash like that would have been thrown into the river in a pig basket."

Seraphina burst into laughter. "Xavier, they threw people in pig baskets overseas too?"

Xavier replied smoothly, not missing a beat. "Oh, absolutely. Cheaters are universally despised. They stink up the place no matter what country they're in."

Dominic's expression shifted from irritated to downright murderous, his lips pressed into a tight, bloodless line.

Cynthia gritted her teeth, her gaze snapping toward Xavier. A jolt of recognition hit her.

She knew him.

Back in university, she had explicitly targeted Xavier.

At the time, she was flirting with a wide roster of wealthy, handsome admirers, and Xavier had been firmly on her list.
