Gideon Cole watched her, a barely perceptible smirk tugging at his lips as he let her have her fun.

Before long, the waiter arrived at Felix Zane's table with the check.

"Mr. Zane, your total for this evening is twelve million, eight hundred and sixty thousand dollars. Will you be settling the bill now?"

Felix had been looking incredibly smug, but at the sound of that number, the wine glass nearly slipped from his grasp.

"Over twelve million?!"

He snapped his head up to glare at the waiter, his voice cracking.

The waiter respectfully handed over the leather folder. "Yes, sir. You ordered our most exclusive, limited-edition dishes, all calculated at the double rate you insisted upon. Add in the vintage wines you selected, and this is your grand total."

Felix stared down at the absurdly long string of zeros, the color draining from his face.

But Cynthia Ross was gazing at him with such bright, expectant eyes. He couldn't afford to lose face now!

Swallowing hard, he clenched his jaw and reluctantly pulled out his elite credit card.

"Run it."

Cynthia's heart swelled with triumph, and she shot a deliberately boastful look toward Seraphina Sinclair.

Seraphina, however, looked completely unfazed, her gaze lowered to her phone.

She had secretly recorded the entire ordeal of Felix fighting over the dishes and loudly demanding to pay double the price.

Now, with this astronomical bill added to the mix, her evidence was complete.

With a few quick taps of her finger, she sent the video directly to old Mrs. Zane.

She followed it up with a quick text.

[Old Mrs. Zane, I happened to run into Felix tonight and realized just how generous he is. He dropped over twelve million on a casual dinner without batting an eye. The Zane family's deep pockets have certainly broadened my horizons.]

Seraphina set her phone down and lifted her gaze to Felix, who was still trying to play the billionaire playboy for Cynthia. A trace of amusement flickered in her eyes.

He certainly didn't hesitate to throw those millions around.
