Just then, there was a loud knock at the door.

Francis’s voice came from outside the door. “Caroline, Kay, are you okay?! Someone reported a huge disturbance in your room!”

Before anyone could answer, the door lock–fried by Kay’s earlier surge of electricity- snapped.

The moment Francis’s hand touched the handle, the lock dropped to the floor.

The door swung wide open, catching him totally off guard.

And there she was. Francis stared at Kay, who was wearing a swimsuit, her wet hair sticking to her shoulders, looking at him with those stunning eyes.
