Chapter 674 Caroline, What’s Your Answer?

The two exchanged a glance. Neither of them spoke, but weapons appeared in their hands at the same time—something was approaching.

It carried a bone–chilling sense of dread.

Caroline silently reached out and put away the lamp in front of her, then deliberately slowed her breathing.

The two of them seemed to melt into the darkness.

A strange sound came from the distance.

It had a rhythm to it, like hard objects knocking against each other.

At the same time, Caroline heard something sliding along the ground.
