Fifteen minutes later, Willa appeared at the entrance of Revelry.
Her makeup was flawless, her figure wrapped in a sleek black cocktail dress, and she carried the latest Hermès clutch as if she were a peacock in full display—radiant, confident, and determined to be seen.
Led by a server, she was guided to a private room, where her eyes immediately found Sheridan.
He was sprawled out on the sofa, dead to the world, drunk as a skunk and completely unconscious.
Willa's lips curled in satisfaction—she hadn't expected fate itself to give her such a perfect opportunity.
She'd had a plan brewing for days, but no way to put it into action: Sheridan hadn't answered her calls, let alone agreed to see her.
Turning to the server, Willa gave her instructions with practiced ease. "He's too heavy for me to move by myself. Could you arrange a room for him on the third floor?"
Revelry was an upscale club. The first floor was your standard drinking and karaoke lounge. Upstairs, the second floor boasted VIP suites with foot massages, live performances, and all sorts of personalized luxury services for the wealthy clientele. The third floor was reserved for overnight guests—and offered far more discreet, exclusive amenities.
Willa was a regular here; she knew the place inside and out.
She rattled off Sheridan's membership number without hesitation, telling the server to book the room under his name.
The server hesitated for a moment. Club policy was strict—no one was allowed to use a member's account when they were incapacitated. Privacy was everything here; after all, their clients were all well-heeled, influential types.
But when Willa so smoothly recited Sheridan's details, it was easy enough to assume they were a couple. He didn't think twice before fetching the key.
Privacy mattered, but so did keeping the clientele happy.
Five minutes later, the server returned with the room key and helped her haul Sheridan up to a third-floor suite, laying him out on the bed before leaving them alone.
Willa closed the door, poured a glass of water, and pulled a small packet from her handbag. She emptied the powder into the water and stirred—it was an aphrodisiac she'd been saving for just this moment.
