Chapter 316 You Know It

Chapter 316 You Know It

Kason turned at the sound and saw Heather standing there with her suitcase. His face instantly went cold.

He looked at her cold face and asked, “Where are you going?”

Heather replied coolly, “Back home.”

With that, she started walking down the stairs, suitcase in hand.

At the same time, Amelie pushed the maid aside and clung to Kason’s arm.

“Kason, can we get back together? I don’t care that you’re married. I can wait for you here, as long as you remember me and come back, okay?” Amelie said, her voice soft and pleading.

Heather stopped in her tracks, shooting Amelie a look of disbelief. ‘Is this for real? She really has a crazy thought, she thought.

Kason’s face darkened. He pulled his arm away and said coldly, “Amelie, we broke up ages ago. And I’m married now. Are you seriously asking me to cheat on my wife with you?”

Amelie shook her head, then looked at Heather. “But your wife is so kind. I bet she wouldn’t even care, right?” she said.

Heather made her way over with her suitcase. But the two were blocking the door, leaving her no way out.

“Mind moving?” Heather said, her tone flat.

Kason shot her a look and just took her suitcase. He asked, “Didn’t we agree to go back together tomorrow? What’s the rush?”

Heather shot a look at her suitcase and replied coolly, “You should probably deal with your own mess first.”

With that, she reached for her suitcase. But Kason suddenly booted it, sending it skidding far across the floor.

The loud crash made Amelie gasp in shock.

Kason’s expression was stormy, but Heather’s face turned even icier. She glanced at her suitcase lying far away, then looked back at him.

“Are you mad at me, or did my suitcase offend you somehow?” Heather asked angrily.

Kason stared at her for a few seconds, then gave a short laugh.

“Of course not. I’m the one who got on your nerves, so Mrs. Bradford, how do you want to punish me?” he said, his voice tinged with mockery.

“No need. I’m not interested,” Heather replied coldly.

Kason stared at her frosty face for a few seconds, feeling seriously irritated. ‘She was smiling at me just this morning, and now all I get is the cold shoulder?’ he thought. Without warning, he bent down and slung her over his shoulder.

“Kason! What are you doing? Put me down!” Heather yelled.

Kason gave her a firm smack on the butt. “Behave yourself,” he said.

“Kason!” Heather snapped, her teeth clenched in anger.

“Call me honey,” Kason said with a smirk.

Without missing a beat, Heather bit him hard on the back.

“Seriously? Still biting me?” Kason grumbled.

Kason winced from the pain and warned, “Alright, I’ll let you have this one last bite. But next time, I swear I’ll yank your teeth out.”

Amelie just stood there, staring at them in shock. “Kason…”

Kason finally turned to her, but his laid-back attitude was gone. He looked at her with a cold, distant expression.

“You know exactly how that baby came to be. Does it even matter if I lied to you? Weren’t you the one who started playing games first?” he said icily.

“No, Kason, that’s not how it was. It really was an accident. That night you were drunk, so we…” Amelie stammered, her voice shaky.

Heather sank her teeth even deeper.

Kason’s face darkened, his whole body tensed

and dangerous.

Amelie was clearly rattled by his words, but she still wouldn’t back down Kason, though, was done with her.

Without another word, he carried Heather upstairs.

“Kason!” Amelie called out, her voice thick with reluctance and longing as she watched their backs disappear up the stairs.

Heather suddenly lifted her gaze, meeting Amelie’s eyes with a calm, almost indifferent look.

Amelie just stood there, stunned, watching them vanish from sight, her mind blank.

As soon as Kason was gone, the maid’s attitude changed in an instant. She shoved Amelie out the door with a forceful push.

The maid was strong, so Amelie was sent sprawling to the ground. The villa door slammed shut behind her.

Inside the room, Kason tossed Heather onto the bed. But she still wouldn’t let go, leaving them in a pretty awkward position.

Kason was really hurting from her bite, and his face twisted in pain.

“Heather, let go!” he snapped.

Heather didn’t loosen her bite. Kason sucked in a sharp breath, gritting his teeth against the pain.

“That was all ancient history. Why are you so angry? Are you jealous?” Kason teased.

Heather finally released her bite and was ready to snap back. But Kason was quicker. He pinned her to the bed, his hand locking her jaw and cheek so she couldn’t move.

She could only let out a muffled protest.

He was so fast. Heather didn’t even get a chance to speak. All she could do was glare at him, eyes full of fury.

Kason pinned her down with one hand like it was nothing. With the other, he peeled off his jacket and started popping open his shirt buttons.

He reached back, and his fingers came away bloody. She’d bitten him hard enough to break the skin.

When Kason saw the blood on his hand, his face went even darker. He stared at Heather and said in a low voice, “You really went for it! Bit me through my shirt and drew blood. What, you that mad at me?”

Heather tried to speak, but with her jaw pinned, her struggles were completely futile.

Kason switched hands, clamping her face with one while using the other to shrug off the rest of his shirt.

Just when Heather thought he was about to make a move, Kason only braced his hand beside her head. He stared at her with impossible-to-read eyes.

“Heather, I’m only going to say this once, so listen up,” he said, his voice low and serious.

Heather’s eyes flickered, but she kept her gaze locked on him, not looking away for a second.

Kason leaned in close, his face just inches from hers. “Trust me, you don’t want to know what my life was like in Mieashy. Not getting mixed up with those people was as far as I’d go. As for women… I’ve been with a lot of them, so many I lost track.”

Her glare sharpened, anger flaring in her eyes as she stared him down.

Heather tried to protest, but her words were muffled.

“Don’t move. Just listen to me. When I’m done, don’t start drama over this again. I can’t stand it,” Kason said, his voice hard.

Heather gave him a sarcastic look, then shut her eyes, making it obvious she didn’t want to hear a thing he had to say.

Seeing her like that, Kason couldn’t help but grit his teeth in frustration.

“This is who I am. My past wasn’t exactly squeaky clean, but that was all before you came into my life,” Kason added, his voice low and serious.

‘Before I came into his life?’ Heather thought, her mind spinning. ‘Did he really mean that?’

‘So does that mean all those scandals after we got married were just fake?’ Heather wondered, doubt creeping in

Kason continued, “If I wanted to hook up with other women, you couldn’t do a thing about it. I wouldn’t be worried about you finding out. Do you understand me?”

Heather still kept her eyes shut, and Kason finally let go of her face.

But the very next second, Heather sank her teeth into his wrist.

“Seriously? Heather, have I indulged you too much?” Kason hissed through gritted teeth.

Kason’s face was stormy as he grabbed a handful of her hair, ready to pull her away Suddenly, Heather opened her eyes.

Her eyes became red. She just stared at him, unblinking, refusing to look away.

Just like that, the anger blazing inside Kason fizzled out under her gaze.

His lips set in a hard line as he stared at her for a few seconds, then started pulling at her clothes

Heather was startled and quickly let go of his wrist. “What are you…”

Before she could get the words out, he kissed her hard, caressing her body.

Heather was no match for a flirting veteran like Kason, especially when he knew exactly how to push her buttons.

After what felt like forever, Kason finally cupped Heather’s flushed cheek, his voice husky and low as he said, “Don’t make trouble with me over this.”

Heather turned her head away, refusing to look at him. Kason added, “Seriously, do you not know if I have any other women?”
